"The will of the electorate" was to "get rid of all them damn foreigners". I would hope that politicians do disregard it tbh. No place for it in the modern world.

No that is your prejudiced view. Their actual will was to Leave the EU.......did you not read the ballot paper?

It's all wording. People were voting through their snobbish white supremacy way of thinking. There were no real logical arguments for leaving the EU. The economy will be worse as a result of this. Foreigners will continue to come here (to your complete disgust). Racism will continue to grow and we'll see more and more racially motivated attacks.

It's not in the wording atall. Many people on the left voted to leave the EU for entirely different reasons than immigration. I know one of them.

Your pals who are on the left, are Blairites and not on the left at all.

He votes SNP, has all the Yes stickers on his car and was writing ridiculous pro-independence songs about Tories and British establishment during the Scottish referendum. He doesn't agree with my opposition to Corbyn and thinks he is Labour's only hope.

I don't think the Black and Asian people who voted Leave were voting from a white supremacist pov.

I'd love to know why you have an obsession with White English Racists or why you think you are the saviour of the British ethnic citizen. Especially as you have never even met a Black or Asian person in your life.

My understanding from speaking to the Black and Asian people I know is that they hate white do-gooder liberal lefties that claim to represent  them without any authority to do so them more than racists. How dare you claim their voice .

As for the logical reasons for leaving the EU.......Well, logic isn't your strong point is it?

As for the economy....no-one knows what the future will bring so that was a stupid thing to say.

Conclusion.....You, Cream Puff, are an idiot, a walloper, an eejit.........even you can understand that!

"as for the economy....no one knows what the future will bring......." Does that mean you'll stop using economic forecasts to attack Scottish independence ?

English people voted YES in the Scottish Independence referendum. But it doesn't stop people like yourself spouting pish about us all being anglophobic. Even Black and Asian people can have racist tendencies.

I don't believe the vast majority of yes voters are anglophobic, however for you to be offended by that accusation is quite something.

I wasn't responding to you. But I know how important it is for you to feel important and noticed. So here's a free reply on me.

Ignoring what the public think and attempting to get them to change their mind does not lead to electoral success. The best way to change views is to get into power and enact legislation, like we've done before. Take gay rights for example. When we got into power the legal age of consent was different for gay and straight men, by the time we left even the mainstream of the Conservative party had changed their view and legalised gay marriage. This shift happened because we were in power and could make it happen.

I also don't think that people vote just based on self-interest, though many do, and I don't think socialism has the monopoly on those who vote because they think their choice is best for everyone. Tory voters, Lib Dems, Nats and Labour voters probably all believe that their party is what will lead to the better outcome for society as a whole and I always think it's staggeringly arrogant of the left to constantly believe that we are the only ones voting for moral reasons. This disdain for the electorate at large switches the very moderate Tory voters we need to attract away from us.

You think the labour party shifted British society towards gay rights?

Passing that legislation was long, long overdue and was backed by a clear majority of the public. There was absolutely nothing revolutionary about it. A piece of legislation that was opposed only by the most liberally conservative in the country.

And the better outcomes stuff I'm not buying either. Yes some Tories might try and explain that their beliefs are not based on self interest but those people are usually wrong.
