StygianDepths Posted 15 hours ago Share Posted 15 hours ago (edited) Some context for the atmosphere/stoppages in the Cagliari game that I didn't hear mentioned on TV. The Napoli ultras arrived on a ferry to the island with this banner ("sheep hunting"). Sardinia, much like our own dear Aberdeen, has the stereotype as the place of, erm, "the sheep". There was already a bit of a rivalry between the 2 before today but the Neapolitani arrived spoiling for a fight and, well, it all kicked off a bit in the first half. The poisonous atmosphere has certainly made it a good watch from the comfort of my sofa!
