Broonie wasn't great, but nobody was. IMO he has been one of our better performers this season. He's also one of the few players with any pace in the squad. He started in almost every match in our junior cup winning season, but will be lucky if he's started ten games in each of the seasons since then. His attitude is great and he never complains, but in recent seasons we have tried so many at left back while he has been on the bench - Broony, Richie, James Creaney, Mick Kelly and Chis to mention a few from memory.
