Not sure about that course but golf shoes being mandatory is purely to shut out the scum. Trainers don't do anymore harm than jeans instead of slacks and a Pringle jersey. I count myself as scum BTW.

Said a lot of right things, exposed the problems of May and the Tory government over Brexit, pointed out that there hadn’t been a single concession from the EU since the delayed vote in December. However when it was pointed out that he had not offered any alternate proposal on behalf of the official opposition it basically reduced everything he had said to pointless rhetoric. Emily Thornbury on the Politics Live show today more or less saying the same thing : "We've got a government that can't govern - there needs to be a GE and the election of a government that can govern" They still seem to think that somehow they could negotiate a better brexit deal. Well done David Cameron for creating a completely divided country in order to resolve a pathetic squabble within your beloved tory party. What a mess.

Ira Gaines
I watch the vast majority of my TV on demand and stuff, and I still watch stuff live. I don't actually know anyone who doesn't do it now and again.

You could really see there was a battle amongst themselves, as well as, Leave and Remain. I've also read the book Civil War by Tim Shipman on the Brexit campaign, which gives a more detailed account of the events, so it was no surprise to see his name as "Political Correspondent" in the end credits. Reading the text at the end of the programme, it would be fair to say the data side of the campaign was definitely a guinea pig for the Trump 2016 presidential campaign.
NotThePars
Tim Shipman’s an idiot but he’s invaluable just for the level of access he has and the dirt he’s willing to share.

Cerberus
It's all project fear to get May's deal through. The vast majority of media is controlled by the Government. The only positive I've heard that will come from Brexit is the destruction of the Labour party.

Same with the food standards stuff - EU regulations are much more stringent than US regulations and are pretty much zero-tolerance for foreign objects in food for example. When we are apparently desperate for a US Trade Deal, what do you think the American delegates will be asking for when looking for tariff free access to the UK market - more stringent regulations that will mean they can't sell us stuff, or less stringent regulations that mean they can sell us stuff that doesn't currently meet our (EU) standards?

The idea that the UK state is incapable of functioning without EU oversight is a complete fallacy. There is nothing to stop the Tories getting rid of the NHS right now apart from the fact that the electorate won't let them. The Tories had to bin their Pasty Tax because of public opinion, they are unlikely to fancy the backlash that will come if they undermine food standards. Brexit doesn't mean a Rees Mogg- Johnson dictatorship, it should actually result in greater public scrutiny in all areas due to legislation being passed in Westminster rather than Brussels. Inanimate Carbon Rod
Do you think the average working week will increase, stay the same, or decrease outside the EU? What about the average entitlement to paid holidays?Anyone who doesnt view the hard right tory support for brexit as anything more than a power grab, including the erosion of workers rights is a moron. These people 100 years ago would be workhouse owners, they want a return to that level of control.
