There are many other ways of paying for shit than Paypal so if you don't like the charges, then use another method. The mobile companies are all acting in concert which to me looks like a cartel. Unless one of them isn't raising roaming charges. They've all had roaming charges for non-EU countries without any regulatory trouble. Hard to see how a regulator could argue that they are doing anything new, though I suppose there are plenty of other examples of regulators doing nothing about rip-offs for years and then finally acting. Joey Jo Jo Junior Shabadoo
There are good reasons for the EU to ban roaming charges that don't apply to the UK. There was no chance they weren't getting stuck back on post Brexit.

Billy Jean King
So far we have evidence that exports from the UK to Europe have bombed, we are literally throwing shite into the sea and we know that the NHS is unable to provide medication or perform simple tasks like blood tests. We know that food is rotting in fields, prices are up in supermarkets (and generally) and the lack of staff is harming business generally. We see that supermarkets are running out of basic items. We know that incremental expense such as roaming is/will be coming. Any fucking benefits yet? You've totally ignored the £350m a week windfall to the NHS....oh wait NI was raised just this week for that !

Detournement
The Tory MP refusing to apologise for telling the Stop Brexit nonce Steve Bray to f**k off is a smart guy. I'm convinced that Bray added about 30 seats onto the Tory majority by being annoying as f**k.

lichtgilphead
11 hours ago, Baxter Parp said: Brexit bonus finally found. I'm always amazed by the stupidity of brexiteers. Last time they ran this story, it was pointed out to them that the pictured glass was manufactured in France by a French company and that the person that applied the stamp was probably French too. The only UK involvement was that the Office of Product Safety & Standards issued stamp number 2043 to Verrerie Cristallerie D'Arques JG Durand & CIE. As stamp number 2043 has subsequently been withdrawn, it would be illegal to use it until it is reissued anyway! There are some other issues with the story. I'm not aware of any current UK manufacturers of pint measures, so glasses of this type will continue to be manufactured abroad. It's easier to apply the stamp as part of the manufacturing process than to apply it retrospectively, so it is likely that our Great British Pint Crown Stamps will continue to be applied by foreigners. Obviously, they will cost more, as small runs with different markings will cost more than using the same CE marking for all glasses. So, the net result will be slightly more expensive beer, served in a foreign glass with a crown marked on it by a non-UK company. Some bonus!
