Stay in, leave altogether, or leave within the customs union and single market. Reckon he quietly regrets that now, knowing that he probably would have won. He may well have then pushed an unpopular May even closer in the GE as a moderate alternative to Corbyn, perhaps even another hung parliament? Remains a puzzling decision given how ambitious he has always seemed? Recall at the time he resented the intense scrutiny he felt he was suddenly under. Interestingly his father met an untimely end (road accident) whilst standing as an anti-corruption candidate in opposition to the ruling dictatorship in Nigeria.
