Sloop John B
In a rather lopsided vote. Souleymane Coulibaly won the first goal of the week for September. For his stone cold stunner of an overhead kick gaining 65% of the vote. This week should be a fair bit closer and features some of the teams that have struggled so far in the screamer front Firstly, DUNDEE HAVE DONE SOMETHING INTERESTING, when Queen of the South legend Kevin Holt finished off a flowing team move against Aberdeen. Meaning that Ross County are now the dullest team in the Premiership by being involved in 2 interesting goals of note in 6 games. https://streamable.com/yaqc Motherwell snagged their second nomination of the season with Louis Moult's classy volley to seal his hattrick https://streamable.com/9gta In the same match Ali Crawford gets his second nominated strike for the season with a lovely one two and finish from the edge of the area https://streamable.com/wh9d Inverness continue their upturn in goal scoring form with Billy King's thunderbolt against Celtic, which is the first time this season that Celtic have conceded a quality goal. https://streamable.com/mt7f Finally Scott Sinclair puts Celtic top with a great run and finish https://streamable.com/5sm3 Team Standings 1. Celtic (5 Nominations, 1 Weekly Win, 1 Conceded) +4 GD 2. Hearts (4 Nominations, 0 wins, 1 conceded +3 GD) 3. Hamilton Accies ( 3 Nominations, 1 weekly win, 4 Conceded, -1 GD) 4. Desp
Got to give it to Ali Crawford, despite it being against Motherwell. Great finish. It's Louis Moult, btw, not Lewis.
capt_oats
Billy King got my vote. As fine a finish as Crawford's was the time & space he had to pick his spot lets the goal down a bit, similar to Sinclair in the sense he basically ran half the length of the park unchallenged Crawford had acres of space on the edge of the box.I'd actually argue Crawford's 2nd was a better goal and for all he was unmarked I'd probably have gone for that one had it been nominated.
