Nothing conclusive for the pen as IMHO the video wasn't zoomed in enough but the Ref seemed to take a couple of seconds to decide so may have had an element of doubt. As for the red card, McLean's lack of complaint on the highlights especially after the teams reaction to the pen speaks volumes, the Ref on that one was reaching for the red while he was still blowing.

The defence that your team couldn't score past?

To be fair we were missing Andy Jackson and Trouten after he hobbled off .  That might have made the difference . But yes you are correct.  We couldn't score......... without the ref's help.

Trouten is pish. If you are claiming that you would beat us 9 times out of 10 with your strongest team and he is one of the players you are basing your claim on then yer a tool

This 9 times out of 10 stuff is magic. Of the last 10 meetings between the clubs, Brechin have won 2.

He meant this month.   If we played 10 times this month, with their best players fit and ready, and if McBride was still with us and Ryan and Russell were suspended.

But maybe not.

Surprised no one has mentioned what should have been a double yellow for Hill but ref bottled after already booking him for dissent only 10 mins previously. Brechin could easily have finished with 8 men, elbow on Fitz only meriting a yellow. Dirtiest team in league by far Dods professionalism shinning through a team most self respecting fans should be ashamed of. And note Trouten pulled his hamstring as per report on Brechin website not injured in tackle as some have claimed.

Ref lost control early doors when he should have clamped down on Brechin persistant fouling, especially on early professional foul when Brown beat his man on wing.

Sticking to your guns there pal.

You've went from "we will beat you 9 times out of ten" to "yes we probably could"

It was a daft comment to make but carry on.

Again if you look back I never once mentioned 9 out of 10 but carry on your perma mock outrage until you get it out of your system.  After you have calmed down, a visit to the optician with Cooper might be in order.

Again I chuckle and think of Paul Lovering .

His record for Brechin suggests otherwise. 56 goals in 110 games from midfield.

Sad to see him come off injured again. Had a groin problem earlier in the season and truth be told just hasn't got going yet this campaign.

Yeah, he didn't really do it for us.  That was a poor Airdrie team, though, so I'm not sure how much was really down to him - we were relegated in the playoffs, having won only eight games all year.  He seems to have found his level, and is doing well at it.
