IMX1
Is Sparky not coaching at Troon. Don't think Ladeside would go with another first time management team, Chris S or Wee Davie Greig might fancy it.

the rambler
Why would Rankin be the man to save Kilbirnie from relegation? He has 2 relegations on his CV. Swift won first trophy for 6 years and managed Kilbirnie to their highest ever position in League but felt players weren't responding to him this season and had the dignity to quit, something that Rankin should have done when his team were thrashed 8 - 0 by Troon. The expectations of Kilbirnie supporters doesn't match their achievements. Their Honours Board isn't exactly groaning but some of them have the neck to call their first trophy in 6 years a diddy cup. Time for some realism it's going to be a tough job for whoever get it.

The Ardagh is lowest ranked of all competitions , most teams use it as a warm up for bigger things and it just goes to show that winning it means very little in the grand scheme of things. Relegation or Ardagh ? ...the Ardagh is a diddy cup in comparison.
