Brazilianlex
Bad day for us but what about Darren Dods ? Ive never seen a member of any Clubs staff at any level run from the dugout into the crowd to hide from the Ref. Hilarious to see him called down like a wee schoolboy for his red card.

Highland ITFC
Another of those games for Colts, of which they've had a good number this season, where they dominate possession & create chances, but struggle to convert them. Game should have been out of sight in the first half, then Gala got back into it with a pen, & Colts eventually managed to find a late-ish winner, although many a ref would have given a foul against Colts in the build up to the goal. Impressed with Gala, especially the way that they play out from the back into midfield, but just looked like they were a bit lightweight up top to really get much reward from their possession & build-up play. Ultimately a very good season for Colts, as the majority seemed to have them down as a bottom half side when the pre-season predictions were doing the rounds. Keeping the squad together to build on the form of the second half of last season was key. The loss of Billy Mortimer to injury mid-season was a big blow, & was maybe the key factor in them not finishing a place or two higher. Rumour is that a fair number of players won't be re-signing for next season, for a variety of reasons, so will be interesting to see how a squad for next season pans out, & accordingly whether they can sustain similar form next term.

Came into the Colts first team squad from their U20s at back end of 22/23 season, & then became a key member of the starting 11 for the whole of last season. Excellent on the ball, with his key strength being to collect it in deep-ish positions & then run direct, committing defenders. Got an eye for goal aswell, scoring a few, often from the edge of the box at the end of those runs. Also works very hard defensively. Adamson is a good solid 'keeper. Agile & a decent shot-stopper, comfortable with ball at his feet, & good distribution. A couple of seasons back he had a clanger a game in him, but was much more dependable last season. Overall Colts have something of a major rebuild for the coming season, as in the region of 10 or 11 players have left for a variety of reasons - a few getting decent moves upwards as a reward for their part in Colts' decent showing last season - & only I think three or four of last year's regular starting 11 having stayed on. They've made a few signings of late, but still looking a bit thin squad-wise, so will be interesting to see who else appears, & how they then go once the season comes around. Colts will be seen as good place for young pros to develop though now. Thanks for the info. Sounds like he'll be a decent addition.

Quentin Taranbino
Harley Ewen just signed for us at Stirling? Good enough for step up to league two?

Believe he was on a full-time contract with Rangers two seasons back when he was on loan at Cumbernauld. He was then released & was looking for something higher up for last season, but when that didn't come he signed for Colts for the season. A very capable left-side CB that can also play CDM. Strong & aggressive in the tackle & air, & very comfortable on the ball, both receiving in tight areas & carrying it forward. Popped up with the odd goal aswell.
Highland ITFC
Only pre-season of course, but by way of some kind of vaguely valid comparison, this time last year Cumbernauld were beating Hamilton in pre-season with a well-oiled squad held together from the previous season, & going on to their excellent showing across the 23/24 season. Whereas yesterday getting beaten 4-0 with a squad full of trialists, so perhaps indications of a bit more of a struggle on the horizon for 24/25.
