It was a WoS officeholder that let the info about BSC cutting them loose out of the bag on the WoS subforum when he listed the 9 clubs that have been approved for the WoS development division. The WoS had stated there would be no reserve teams the previous season so how the WoS BSC club related to the LL BSC club was inevitably going to have to be clarified at that point. A lot may depend now on who owns any BSC related trademarks. Edited May 23, 2021 by LongTimeLurker
FairWeatherFan
Turns out they cut ties on the day they were accepted into the WoSFL. It seems quite poor from BSCGFC not to have put anything out considering they keep a a pretty constant social media presence. OF Colts, new manager, and new team have all taken a priority it seems. Two out of three of those being understandable.

Le Tout P'ti FC
In a purely hypothetical scenario where BSC were propelled by helium and hope, and they now cascade relentlessly down through the leagues without the support of the Broomhill structure, what Tier 6 league do they land upon? Firmly within the EOSL boundary based on Sauchie and Dunipace?

They are not members of the EoSFA: https://www.eosfl.com/clubdirlist/1040 so that is far from clear.

Gretna 2008 for example are a member of the EoSFA but would get relegated to the SoSFL where they've never actually played before. It's far from a pressing concern for them but maybe another factor in why the LL Chair thinks its okay to invite OF Colts but is leaving it up to other clubs to propose a change in the LL Pyramid Play-off.

They are not supported by the sports club in a financial sense as far as I am aware.

AlansHotBath
Fair decision from BSC Glasgow, difficult to see what benefit they were getting from this relationship based on the statement. Is George Fraser involved in both set-ups or just the Alloa-based BSC?
Sergeant Wilson
With absolutely no knowledge of the internal politics of BSC, it would be easy to imagine the Glasgow base side got fed up of the hierarchy. They appear to be moving in different circles and getting carried away by their new role in shaping wider football structure, rather than fundraising and lobbying for a ground in Glasgow.
Benidorm
BSC Glasgow LL or whatever the f**k they are called are genuinely the most pointless football team at any grade in Scotland. Hope they fuckin die. The person funding them must be beyond mental. No fans, no ground, no infrastructure at all now playing 30 miles from their catchment, community, whatever the f**k it is. At least Caley Braves is a novelty skim conning mug jobbers from France into parting with five figures to play "professional" football. What even are this mob at this point?
Marshmallo
Lost their manager, lost a good chunk of their squad and lost all their set up beneath the LL team. They'll be at tier 7 or 8 within 5 years. Lowland League 2 being pushed by yer man Fraser starting to make more sense now.

Getting the big boys on your side to help maintain Alloa BSC or provide a personal soft landing in a job or Governance role in future?

First off it was sporting integrity and within a matter of weeks they were bending over for two bob from the Old Firm behind the facade of youth development. Now it turns out his own so called youth development have actually binned them because they have allegedly not played one single player from their own system in the first team of a tier 5 weak as a wet fag regional league. Instead opting for ringers like Martin Grehan. Edited May 23, 2021 by Benidorm

oneteaminglasgow
Surely there’s some town without a team that they could pitch up in to try and build an actual fanbase? Given that there’s now absolutely nothing tying them to Glasgow. I mean, preferably they go bust and everyone involved is hounded out of football forever, but as a compromise.

Always thought they'd end up there anyway
