Bold Rover
I've been trying to find out, without success, whether it has the facility to leave your car there for a few days. I just know that the P&B Dumfries contingent will be able to advise. Thanks in advance.

Zen Archer (Raconteur)
http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/stations_destinations/DMF.aspx Click on Getting to and from the station, it says it's not free, but doesn't offer a tariff.
Pearbuyerbell
Wouldn't it be best to park on a residential street nearby and walk to catch the train ? Then get on the train and take a seat and enjoy the journey with some soft mints, a copy of the Daily Star and a Capri Sun.

No chance of discussions of variable risks at nearby Supermarkets, Garden Centres, Churches etc now, is there?!? c**t.

Cheers, Zen - I'd already looked at that but it doesn't say how long you can leave it there. dumfriesblue has the inside track on it, though! MONKMAN
Just park at the Station hotel, then avoid paying any parking fine they issue.
dumfriesblue
why risk your car getting towed away . it is only 50pence a day to park at train station .
MONKMAN
Legally the only people who can tow a car are the police or council, so the cars not going anywhere. That said, I didn't realise it was only 50p a day. I still wouldn't pay it though.
