deej
Not sure if anyone else twigged, but Celtics 5-0 victory at Tynecastle means they mathematically cannot be caught by Aberdeen, and are champions of the Premiership. Top six can be confirmed this midweek if Rangers beat Kilmarnock and Partick Thistle win at Parkhead.
10menwent2mow
Thistle's win yesterday denies Aberdeen a guaranteed Top 5 finish. Hearts still need a point to seal the top 6 A win for Aberdeen and anything other than a win for Hearts in midweek will see the Dons clinch a top 4 slot. We are 6 goals away from 500 for the season in the top flight.

Initially read this as an Aberdeen stat, thought that was a hell of an effort For comparison at this stage last season we were at 513, and finished on a nice even 650.

deej
This is my 1000th post on P&B Dundee will finish in the bottom six. Expect more to be confirmed tomorrow.
topcat(The most tip top)
The top 6 could be decided by this time tomorrow Although that does rely on Partick winning at ParkheadA draw at Parkhead would consign Ross County to the bottom 6If Kilmarnock don't beat Rangers or Hearts beat St Johnstone then Hearts are in the top 6Even a point in Perth would mean Hearts can't go down Motherwell are 9 points off 7th so need a win against Hamilton and Celtic to do them a favour if they've still going. To be in the race
10menwent2mow
Aberdeen now guaranteed a Top 4 finish. Hearts would have to win all games to mathematically catch Aberdeen and were they to do so, they would beat Saints twice, leaving Saints with a maximum of 61 points. Aberdeen have won 20 matches for four consecutive seasons for the first time since 1981/82 to 1984/85, a period in which they were champions twice. We've never done it for 5 consecutive seasons
AR851903
If St Johnstone lose tonight, Aberdeen have qualified for the Europa League.

No, both Hearts and Rangers can still finish ahead of Aberdeen if Saints lose tonight. Were Hibs to defend the cup, then only 2nd and 3rd would qualify for the Europa League. As I said, the Dons have secured a Top 4 finish already. 4th will qualify for the Europa league if Celtic win the Cup or if Aberdeen or Rangers win the Cup and also finish in the Top 3 of the league. topcat(The most tip top)
Hearts can no longer finish 2ndOn a brighter note we now can't be in the bottom 6 either
10menwent2mow
Hearts can no longer finish 2nd but clinch a top 6 spot. County will finish bottom 6. As for the weekend. If Aberdeen better saints result they will clinch European football. If thistle match killies result they will make the top 6.

Virtual Insanity
Per Transfermarkt: Griffiths 6 Rooney 13 Doolan 0 McKay 7 Commons 11 Boyce 5 McGinn 2 Sutton 6 Boyd 3 MacLean 2 Although their totals seem to differ slightly so may not be 100% reliable. A long way of highlighting just how impressive Doolan's consistency is.

Also worth highlighting that the list doesn't give due recognition to Steven Maclean topping the 'penalties sent into orbit in a single season' chart with 2.
