According to the website, a couple of changes mooted for tomorrow's game, albeit very predictable ones.

This is Ross County under 20's side. . . If he can't/won't trust his fringe guys in a game like this, when will he? Surely it's the perfect game to give guys 90 minutes?

Couldn't agree more.

They won the U20's league did they not? Also maybe he thinks the sooner the colt teams get hounded out of the cup, the better.

They did win the league, does that make a difference? Other than the 2 over age players they're permitted to play, the rest will be 16 to 19 year olds.

Any why would Bollan give a toss about colt sides being in the cup?

We'll they were obviously the best colt team last season so that might make a difference in who Bollan plays.

Bollan, like many others, may think that shoe-horning colt teams into the cup as a precursor to them eventually getting league places is an utter joke and devalues the competition.

But this is a Mickey Mouse glorified kick about tournament. . . . . Is it not?

Bollan must have one of the worst Cup records in the clubs history by now??

His starting 11 tonight showed he didn't see this game as a glorified friendly, he without a doubt played to win that game.

Play the fringe lads, get beat and no one bats an eyelid.Plays pretty much his strongest available team, gets beat and looks like an idiot.

Tripped himself up.

Cregg and Millar in midfield and Easton in a free role sounds good to me. As said a striker is badly needed or a winger to allow Cox to move up top.

This has the potential to be a very good central 3 to be honest, on paper I'd say that's easily as strong as what we have and I'm very happy with our central midfield options.

The most concerning thing is we have just been knocked out of the Scottish League Cup by an under 20 side and it hardly registers a response on P&B.

Are our expectations so low  under Bollan , that we just accept this result as being the norm?

It's actually the Challenge Cup, but your point is still a valid one imo.

Shoogly peg already.
