Can see Ayunga away in Jan if we can get someone to take him.

Failed to even make the bench yesterday and been an unused sub recently.

Sad to say he is just not good enough. If we can move him and a few others on we can address the areas of the team in need of changing.

The Rangers game is a free hit, but the following two games against Ross county and St Johnstone will see if he can get some points on the board. A failure to do so will result in him finding the pressure building.

Sadly, even though they are pish, the way we're playing at present, we'll no doubt ship the usual 3 or 4 without reply against them.

So would I be if we were stuck with Brad Lyons having lost Kiltie !

Man of the match and finished as captain today during yet another routine *** skelping.😎

Take most provincial clubs with small squads taking out three defenders who would normally be first team picks Iacovitti,  Taylor, Rooney we can't afford to lose the heart of your defence. Midfield is also weak at the moment. Injuries is our problem . All we need now is the fans to turn on the team getting players  nervous. I fully trust Robinson but he needs all his tools to do a good job.

Who would want him

Can't see anyone thinking he solves their goal scoring problems 🤷

It's not all down to the formation but we're looking very similar to how we were playing back in the summer of 2022 when we lost comfortably to Airdrie in the League Cup group stage. Playing a 433 where we can't get the ball up to the two wide forwards, our midfield is overrun, we have centre halves that aren't good enough unless they're in a block of 3 and we're often finding two of their players running up against our full backs.

It just doesn't work. I'd rather we played players out of position in a 352 than stick with a back four that suits no-one.

Finally, the week after the aforementioned Airdrie game in 2022, we went with a 352 against Edinburgh and although were still getting used to the change in formation, won 3-1 comfortably. Hopefully we'll see a reversion back to that on Saturday but we also need a lot more from the experienced players right down the spine of the team. When you have players out injured or are short in certain areas, that's especially when we need the experienced leaders in the squad to step up.

Just have to hope someone thinks they can get a tune out of him. Robinson has brought in plenty of players who have lost their way, hoping he can turn them around. Someone might think this of Ayunga.

Prior to his injury Jonah was a standout for us. He might have lost some of that pace but he didn't become a bad player. He absolutely needs a move but he is far from being a Josh Heaton.

He is certainly no Heaton but he is not contributing to the team. A loan move out might be an option.

It says something when a 16 year old takes your place.  This is no slight on Mooney. The lad is on fire for the u18s

I think for a lot of years we became a basket case of a club, cycling our way through a series of bad managers with the occasional good one thrown in, who got sacked too soon if things weren't going well. As fans we got used to the chaos and joined in.

I believe we are far better run now, with level headed people, so as fans we need to be likewise.

Robbo isn't and won't be under pressure unless we have a catastrophic collapse, which we won't as he won't allow it to happen.

All we need to do as fans is chill and let the man do his job.

The point wasn't that he didn't need moved on,  it was in response to suggestions he was immovable.

As for losing a place to a 16 year old, someone lost their place to Wayne Rooney and Michael Owen. Didn't make them bad players 😉

Regardless of current form our record at ibrox is pretty shocking. We will be up against it as they rarely lose two games in a week.

Our injury problems have been well documented, as has the loss of Shaun Rooney. For me the most worrying aspect is the poor recruitment and a massive loss of confidence and form.
I don’t think Robbo has become a poor manager but anyone who thinks he won’t be under pressure if we fail to take points from St Johnstone or Ross County are just kidding themselves.
