Why do you think he handed in a transfer request in that case?

Because he wanted to leave.

That doesn't mean hibs were offered 3 million, if they had been offered that he would have been gone.

They started off bidding £2m each for him and Cosgrove.  They went to £3m with Nisbet, was rejected, Nisbet thought it was decent amount and handed in a request.

We've seen with Mueller the owner likes to speculate to accumulate.  You could call it our Andy Driver moment.

There is no way hibs rejected 3M for Nisbet.

Not within the last 2 transfer windows.

🙂

Their manager at the same time as signing Cosgrove admitted Hibs turned down £2m for him and wanted more but the manager really wanted him.  A week later a bid with add-ons up to £3m turned down.

Final interviews to take place at end of the week.

Think we will get an announcement sometime next week.

Whens Ron jetting in?  Probably to have a wee session with Cormack on Saturday before a round of golf of two then onto final interviews next week - when the Championship seasons concluded.

Same window as the nisbet bid, which seems more relevant than the last 2 windows.

Birmingham had their heart set on a charitable donation to Scottish football that window and we were the lucky recipients.
