  1. Thats a great shout, totally forgot about that one - will pop in later...............question is, does it need coins or a card !!
  2. True, I was getting ahead of myself there......................obviously the Sarwar Vonc will go nowhere. Yep - sadly, politics and those who are drawn toward it just dont reflect how most of us would act "in real life". What is inevitable in this case is that there will be some SNP MSPs - who dont rate HY - who will not vote to remove him, as that would reflect poorly on them both locally and to the SNP bosses. I am not 100% sure it will get to this anyway. I rather suspect that HY will be persuaded to step down before the VonC, the SNP group will elect a new leader and the Greens will step back into the fold.
  3. Looks like the fire improved her kitchen tbf............
  4. The inability to find a working Air and Water machine near me. Its no like I live in the sticks, but the one at Cameron Toll Sainsburys was (last time I was in) goosed, and the one at my local BP in Causewayside needs actual coins (despite the jetwash needing a card FOR FUCKS SAKE) ! I mean, water and air used to be a basic requirement for a fuel station. Am I supposed to just drive around like a divvy til I find one????? FFS !!!!
  5. I suppose its possible when you have malcontents like Fergus Ewing. Although, would he want to ruin his final term and blacken the family name by being remembered chiefly as the guy who "brought down the SNP government"?
  6. The logic here is unquestionable..........................
  7. "trying to save grangemouth" Its a bit unclear what the Scottish Govt can do to "save" the Ineos plant, when Ineos is a privately owned company and can basically do exactly as it wants*. HY could say to Regan "aye, of course we will try to save it" and it wont make a shred of difference, as Ratcliffe etc are simply motivated by money. *I am no fan of Ineos, Jim Ratcliffe or how they operate - but its important to separate what we want with what is actually realistic or achievable.
  8. How much are they to town? ETA, just checked Málaga. 4 euros each way on the bus. Is that also "a ripoff"?
  9. I don't think the prices for the bus or tram journeys are a ripoff. You obviously do - so can you give me an example of any airport that offers 2 public transport options to the city it serves, for less than £8 or £9 return?
  10. Is he just incredibly stupid? ans - yes, yes he really is
  11. Sure that happened a few years ago - Kezia Dugdale pressed the wrong button on some vote. Wouldnt put it past some of them not to understand if they were meant to vote For or Against the motion.....................
  12. That would be pretty much anyone but Humza. I think he might be persuaded this is the only course of action over the weekend. Lets be honest, its the only realistic outcome. Labour couldnt get into bed with the Tories ahead of the UK GE, that would be a gift to the SNP and remind people of how those kunts worked together in 2014.
  13. Used to be kinda like that in the 1980s, when there were a few office buildings that went over the station. Cant really see in this pic, but the exit to St Andrew Sq was just to the right of the Travellers Tryst pub. This is what it was like inside at one point, looking toward the old St James Centre.
  14. You said the public transport options are expensive. They are demonstrably not. As a comparison, the Glasgow airport to city return bus journey costs £16..........
  15. Alex Salmond knows that he can extract a price. If Regan abstains, Alba go back to being irrelevant (their natural state).
  16. I suppose it partly depends on the roads (i.e. some roads off a roundabout are small or take little traffic and local rulez seem to apply). From what you say, I would take the right lane and watch for people cutting in from the left. But then..............I drive an Audi
  17. Its £8 for a return on airport bus, £9 for a return on the tram. Based on the many countries I have visited, these public transport options are a fucking bargain......................................
  18. When radio shows get someone on to be interviewed who is (a) obviously on a mobile and (b) doesnae have a decent signal. I mean how difficult is it to have this stuff checked before they get on the fucken air?
  19. Alba will do whatever is best for Alba - and whatever makes them feel relevant.
  20. That dick would probably be the last to know.
  21. Hilarious stuff from Harvie and Slater - imagine being outmanoeuvred by Humza - minter.
  22. Thats because the Greens "have been denied their day in the sun" or some other shite. They are spitting feathers because the SNP binned them, rather than the other way round. Will be interesting to see just how grown up they actually are now.................
  23. Worst place I have driven is Corsica. French, but with a massive Latin machismo culture on the road. Lots of mountain roads with cliff edges and blind corners - ideal for overtaking if the number of roadside shrines is anything to go by. Locals drive their stupid wee cars like the F1 drivers you mention above, right up your hoop, pull out with no indication and cut back in forcing you to brake hard. Wankers.
  24. I have driven in France a lot and you are not wrong. In order to survive you need to drive "assertively". I am going next week in my own car, so assume the UK sticker and plates will attract even more kunty behaviour than normal.......
