He isn’t THE problem but he’s certainly part of it. Woeful manager.

If it had been anyone other than Burns reporting it I’d have been worried. We’ll want good money for him to go now and I doubt Millwall would pay it. Wouldn’t be surprised if other Championship teams start sniffing around and Nisbet kicks up a fuss again though.

Johnson should have been already sacked by now. The entire club needs a refresh from top to bottom.

He’s certainly not the solution but I don’t think anyone could for a second suggest that he’s the cause of our issues, he’s a very beige bland manager who has been consistently average throughout his career. Just find it grating the amount of people desperate for us to sack him when we’d just bring in someone equally as shite and the cycle repeats itself.

Sacking him will literally achieve nothing, no one is saying he’s good but while we have the same people hiring managers we’re aswell keeping him and saving the club money.
Hibee_Hibernian
Surely if they are looking to bring in a DOF we’re much better off doing that first and then letting them deal with the manager situation?
The Other Foot
It’s time for the Gerrard/Lampard combo in DoF/Manager positions. Martindale can come too, but he’s cleaning the loos in hospitality.

I get that we are in a bad place just now, but the pant pishing over non stories has got to almost Aberdonian levels tonight...........................

Hearing rumours through pals and nothing through twitter. In all honesty Nisbets value probably isn’t close to the £3/4m it should be due to the contract situation and assuming he doesn’t sign we’ll be lucky to get £2m for him. No idea about the Cadden stuff but Laidlaws contract is up in the summer and is currently free to talk to other clubs so unless that changes we will be losing him for nothing, O’Connor too. Yet we have messers Doidge, Doyle-Hayes, Henderson, Tavares and Newell on long term contracts and with the exception of Tavares, all of that is the doing of Gordon/Kensell etc.

I see Millwall also offered £3 million for Lyndon sodding Dykes earlier in the week - with 18 months to go on Nisbet's contract, even a club as disastrously run as Hibs at the moment surely won't let the only man keeping them out a relegation battle for a third of that?
Tommy Tappin
If Nisbet is sold, I presume it's Youan to CF and McKirdy to wide right with the kids moved up to the bench?
Glen Sannox
Sacking Jack Ross was not remotely harsh. The St Johnstone cup final was itself a sackable offence, before you take into account all his other disasters. As for this latest clown, he should have been sacked before the World Cup break.
Zing.
£2.3m bid for Nisbet now. Feel like that’s fairly close to what we’d accept given his contract situation.
Wee-Bey
If he's not signing a new contract, then I think you have to take the 2.3 mil.

Leith Green
Has there been any confirmation of the extent of Bushiris injury? LJ thought it may be a broken leg on Sunday, presumably it would have been treated and we would have heard if that was the case? No comms is bizarre - or maybe just more bizarre behaviour to add into this very strange week from Hibs.
Lyle Lanley
Is anyone else pissed off that it looks like we are selling our top striker where we are currently struggling? Really hope the club are prepared for the backlash coming their way. Edited January 25, 2023 by Lyle Lanley
