I loved Liberace as a child, never knew he was gay either - even went to a specific casino in Vegas so I could see his car. LOVED THAT MAN. America had Liberace, we had Bobby Crush.

The league would be over and above the West Region leagues. The managing committee of the new league would select the clubs ... just as happened with the LL. Who would chose the "managing committee" ? The SFA ? The EoSL/SoSFL ? The SJFA ? The PWG ? And when do you suggest that all this would be implemented ?

Which isn't a part of the SFA Pyramid. Which would put it at the next available spot in the SFA pyramid if there was integration. Which would be Tier 6/7. Glad we agree
superbigal
So that's 32 teams now. Tier 8 best anyone can get in a year in eos.

The bottom of the pyramid, with the likes of deadbeats Tweedmouth, Ormiston, Eyemouth and Coldstream will be EOS tier 7 in 2019-20. Where will the top West juniors go? -

So up to 36 clubs, in 2 x 18 "conferences" at Tier 6, could be the outcome, with some adjustment/suspension of one or more of the existing cup competitions for 2018/19. The opportunity closes on 7th June.

Evidently, you'll be shocked to discover that some West juniors may either form a new WoSFL at Tier 6 or the west region will integrate with its top division at Tier 6. And of course as we've seen in the East some of the Juniors might just decide to stay Junior.

And when do you suggest that all this would be implemented ? 2019-20 would be the obvious starting date. There is a need now to split the central belt into two tier 5 divisions so once the SFA acknowledges this, it makes sense that the SJFA should administer it, following the tier 5 regulations set by the SFA. The desertion by the east clubs makes it easier for the administration of the second tier 5 league to be handed over to the SJFA since there would no longer be any significant geographic overlap between the Lowland League serving the east and south and the SJFA Superleague serving the west and centre.

Apart from the Tayside clubs and clubs shifting allegiance to the juniors elsewhere I’d be astonished if, by 2019-20, there are enough clubs in the east to form a viable East junior league.
