As an aside, what's the difference between 2nd and 3rd, other than more prize money? Both halves are still part of the same league. They should prioritise the games based on importance and goals. If that means a top-6 game is shown first, fine; but that doesn't mean all top-6 games then need to be shown before moving on to the bottom-6. I could understand this idea have all the top half matches together then all the bottom half matches together if they debating the half after they'd showed the three highlights, or if all the matches were relevant.
