I've only watched the highlights but it looked a great show from the Lions, defence again picking up sacks and an interception.  Stafford protected pretty well (one forced fumble aside) against what is a good defensive line and a little more threat in the run from Abdullah.

Running back and linebacker were two weak areas for the Lions last season and things are looking up in both those, with Abdullah returning and Jarrad Davis having an impact in his rookie year.

Next week's game will give a chance to see what the Lions do against a top team and compare how they cope with the Falcons compared to Green Bay this week.

Good win for the Lions and they did it differently this time. Controlled the game from start to finish, ran the ball well and played good defense. The game was never in doubt.

Giants offense and the offensive line in particular are turgid. Play calling doesn't help and McAdoo has surely got to be in trouble at the end of the season if not sooner. Offensive guy who can't do anything with OBJ, Brandon Marshall, Sterling Shepard and Evan Engram. I don't care how bad the blocking is (and it's really really bad), he failed to give Flowers help, continued to run the ball late in the game when thy were down two scores and it wasn't working, plus he made some cowardly decisions to run the clock out for half time and on 3rd and longs. Eagles DL next week. - look out Eli.

Settle down with the tanking business though. Their defense will win them games.
