jimmy boo
Ten part series based on Stephen King book with him producing and starring Brendan Gleeson. Impressed with first two so far. Recognise the English bad guy from something but can't put my finger on where.

murphy1970
King adaptations can be hit or miss to put it mildly. Only seen the pilot episode of this so far but judging by that, Mr Mercedes is definitely going to fall in the hit category. Brendan Gleeson is very good as the retired tec, in fact all of the casting looks spot on, and it is unusually faithful to the source material.

His performance is tremendous in this. Unfortunately we can't watch an episode until it's been shown in the US as per the schedule below so i'm up to episode 7. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mr._Mercedes_(TV_series)

jimmy boo
Just noticed that series 3 started a month ago! It may be the last as it's based on 3 books. Available on the usual sources.

Savage Henry Posted Wednesday at 19:46 Share Posted Wednesday at 19:46 Very late to the party on this, and I thought the first season was largely exemplary. Will continue watching.
