Rolled right over the top of them second half, Cuddihy and Ramsay much better. They were never going to get a goal.

We might not be great to watch but today demonstrates why relegation or the juniors would be a nightmare.

Can't think of a Currie save. One of those games that you knew Clyde were going to score eventually and more would follow. The Keith number 2 should be ashamed of himself after deliberately stamping on Goodwillie for his red card. No wonder total bedlam broke out involving about 15 players. A shocking incident.  Well done the Clyde and lets go beat East Fife in th next round:thumsup2.

The first half was rubbish. We didn't pass the ball at all through midfield and neither Cuddihy nor Ramsay got near Goodwillie. Bizarrely seemed to be Nicoll in attacking positions more often than not. Home 'keeper had a couple of great saves from corner kicks where we genuinely looked like we'd score every time. Keith created nothing bar one neat switch of play but Wright got back well to cover.

Second half we started a bit sharper, got our midfield higher up the pitch. Opening goal came from one of Currie's typical quick kick-outs to release Goodwillie. He messed up the attack a bit to be honest but the ball bobbled through  to Wright who went round the 'keeper, was forced wide, but his low cross was back heeled into the net by Osolador.

Game was probably over at that point but a moment of stupidity from the Keith right-back tied it up. Despite getting a touch on the ball he went right through the back of Goodwillie and as he was getting booked, seemed to stamp all over him. Led to a big rammy after which a red card was given out, and Nicoll was booked. From the set piece Wright had a completely free header to net the second goal. Third followed soon after as good work from Goodwillie saw him cross for Ramsay to head into the net. After that we didn't really push for a fourth, and a couple of the defensive players seemed to take the pursuit of the clean sheet overly seriously.

Decent win and good to be through. Not really any standout performers but no-one was poor either; they simply did enough. Munro probably won't get back into the team next week as Home/McNiff haven't given up a chance in a game and a half as a pairing. Full-backs weren't troubled but Duffie is clearly a massive improvement on Home/Breslin/Bradley. Nicoll did okay. Ramsay and Cuddihy were as influential in the second half as they'd been anonymous before the break. Their centre halves were a mile off Goodwillie as you'd expect and he ran them ragged into the channels. Wide players contributed well but Osolador was a bit lazy first half (less so second half when he was right in front of the away dugout).

Keith worked hard but were dead on their feet before the hour mark. It's amazing how part-time players can be so much fitter than other part-time players; it was the same last year against Brora.

I'd suggest that anyone who criticises plastic pitches goes and watches a game at Kynock Park. Ball bobbled all over the place, and there was even one time where Currie went to bounce the ball and it stopped dead on the pitch.

Hopefully a bit of confidence for the boys and great to get a clean sheet.

very disappointed in gettin getting East Fife at home, shit crowd, probably beat us.. least if we had Raith it's something a bit different, likely be a decent atmosphere but definitely wouldn't win there either

Cracking weekend up North, game was fairly poor until the 2nd Half when we stepped it up a bit.

Shocking stamp from the No.2, however the initial 'tackle' from the no 8 which led to it was also pretty awful.

Consternation when we got back to the digs in Grantown on Spey and were drawn against Raith then East Fife within 15 minutes

Don't agree that it's a worse tie, reckon at least we have a chance at home, whereas I would have feared a bt of a tanking at Raith.

Mon the Bully :thumsup2
