Jordan Archer is 24 and starting week in week out for a now play off chasing Millwall and struggles to get a look in over the old guard.

Surely he'll get some game time  in these two fixtures. I'd start him in the Costa Rica game, and give McClaughlin the second half.  Then play McGregor in the Hungary game.

He's been picked in every squad for the last year or so, but Gordon has played every game on account of being better than him.

Rumours that Mcleish is talking to Angus Gunn re switching to Scotland

Seems to be more than just a rumour. Alan Nixon is usually pretty spot on with what he puts on twitter.

Quite happy seeing these guys with genuine Scottish links switching allegiances to play for us. Certainly a higher calibre of goalkeeper than pretty much all of the other young players we have to choose from.

Didn’t say he wasn’t picked in the squad. Gordon is definitely the better just now and that’s despite being relatively poor at Celtic, but he’s 35 so surely only had maybe a year or 2 left same with McGregor. Archer has room to improve obviously so surely worth giving him a start in one of these games.
