New Era
Newmains United are running a last man standing competition. Small fundraisers like this go a long way to keeping a club like ours operating, especially coming into the winter months where games will be postponed and due to the fact we have now went several weeks without a home tie scheduled. If anyone is interested in taking part please follow the below link, the more the merrier and the bigger the prize pot will be. http://bit.ly/2iliFGI

Yep, started ours last season and it's been decent. The current one has dragged on to week 7, and for once I'm still in it!

New Era
After hearing so many success stories from clubs raising decent sums of money from last man standing I was hopeful ours would take off and do well too. For a small club like us, things like this literally keep the club running, especially when we have had no home fixture in 6 weeks and now the fixture man decides to give us some at the worst possible time of year, which will probably see us go a number of months without a home tie. We have struggled to get interest in our competition and therefore delayed the start date for another week. If anyone has any tips on how to promote it best or any other unique fund raising ideas please get in touch with any advice. Thanks

Thanks Just used Twitter, Facebook and word of mouth really to promote ours. We've also had a good number of the squad take a shot which certainly helps.
