Got a date for that one?  They’re passing across the Merkland Road gates so looks like a queue for tickets.

Vasil Ringov of Vardar Skopje and Paul Hegarty exchange pennants before the second leg of the UEFA Cup second round tie in late 1985. This is the current National Stadium, back then only one modern stand had been built.

Great 'tash. Had to double take it wasn't John Holt or an outfield Hamish McAlpine.

Yip. Sons should have won the first game which ended 0-0. Lost the replay 3-0. If they had won they would have been in Europe the following season

Bloody Jim Cook missing a sitter in the dying minutes of the 1st game.

St Mirren and Legia Warsaw pictured after the friendly game at Love Street 1976. The great Polish player Kazimierz Deyna is seen second from right in back row. Great player in 1974 and 1978 world cup finals.
