Pot 4 Bosnia-Herzegovina Republic of Ireland Belgium Latvia Israel Scotland Slovenia No option Pot 5 Hungary Finland Estonia Wales Lithuania Albania Iceland Finland IMO Pot 6 Georgia F.Y.R. Macedonia Belarus Armenia Northern Ireland Cyprus Moldova Northern Ireland are a decent team at home. They have had draws with Spain & Germany in the last couple of qualifying group. That was overlooked when they beat England. Cyprus for me Pot 7 Liechtenstein Azerbaijan Andorra Malta Faroe Islands Kazakhstan Luxembourg San Marino Anyone, probably avoid Kazaks or Azerbaijan. Hopefully all the history of war and hatred between the countries results in mass violence at their games with FIFA docking points and allowing us to sail through. Meanwhile, back in the real world: POT ONE: England or Greece. England would be a 'derby' game, but they aren't that good, especially in qualifying. We could grab somethign against them. POT TWO: Romania, for me. What a pot though POT THREE: Slovakia or Norway. We know we can do the Slovaks and Norway are no great shakes either. POT FIVE: Estonia, we beat them in a friendly and should be able to secure results against them. POT SIX: I wouldn't want Northern Ireland, Macedonia or Belarus. Probably Moldova? Denmark in pot 3 whilst England who they humped a few weeks ago in Pot 1. It doesn't make sense to me. Also can anyone explain why we are in pot 4 when we've never, in my life time anyway, finished 4th in a group? Most of the time we finish 2nd. It's just this year and WC2002 where we have finished 3rd. Grrrr 711985[/snapback] Slovakia made the play off this time and might qualify, englands record is just better than denmarks and irelands. However, I think the best and worst are as follows: BEST: Greece Romania Bulgaria Scotland Iceland Moldova Andorra WORST: Netherlands Spain Denmark Scotland Wales Belarus Kazakhstan My Prediction: Portugal Poland Russia Scotland Hungary Cyprus Malta In a group like this you would fancy your chances of qualification, given 2 qualify. Some banana skins, such as Cyprus and Hungary. However, I feel we would get the better of Poland and Russia. It is hypothetial, but a group like this would give us a great chance, and I don't feel we will get a 'group of death'. At the same time I don't think we will get the best case scenario either.
