Good enough to play in the EPL?

As a follow up to the "player A is better than player B" chat because of the club they're employed by.    I've named all non-EPL players from the last squad and added in Leigh Griffiths

Jordan Archer

Alan McGregor

Jon McLaughlin

Barry Douglas

Grant Hanley

Kieran Tierney

Russell Martin

Scott McKenna

Charlie Mulgrew

Callum Paterson

Stuart Armstrong

Tom Cairney

James Forrest

Kevin McDonald

Dylan McGeough

John McGinn

Calum McGregor

Kenny McLean

Jaime Murphy

Ryan Christie

Jason Cummings

Oli McBurnie

Leigh Griffiths

I believe the bolded players are easily good enough to play in the EPL.   With many more with the potential to be good enough in time.

Game of opinions.   I like him.

Pacey, tall, strong,  great technique, takes a good freekick.

If you can be a standout in champions league games with Celtic and international games with Scotland, I'm sure he could cope with Brighton v Bournemouth!

You have Griffiths twice. His second incarnation is good enough unlike his first. Is it to do with his hair transplant?

Nope.

Shite defender, overplays it and doesn't read the game well enough.

If he was as great as your saying you'd think a championship club would've tried to take him on last summer.

The love in for him is genuinely bizarre.

Tony Mowbray stated last summer that he would only stay at Blackburn in the division below if the better players at the club remained there. Every possibility there was bid(s) that got knocked back.

His reading of the game has been one of his strongest assets this season!

Blackburn are a massive club at that level - it's basically the equivalent of when Hibs were in the Championship, and saying "If John McGinn was so great, surely a Hamilton or Ross County would have tried to take him on."

Aye except there's massive clubs in the division above that are much bigger than Blackburn so it's more like saying surely a rangers or Celtic would take him on.  Which they didn't.  Apart from that brilliant analogy.

As for mulgrew he's okay, not a particularly good defender not brilliant under pressure but comfortable on the ball and playing at a level that's easy for him so looks good.  Think he should be ditched for Tierney immediately though, no danger is he part of our best back three.

Whilst they are EPL clubs basically if this is the kind of level he would play at its pretty much top end Championship/bottom end EPL quality.

To answer the OP, the following could easily play #TB4 in England:

Jamie MacDonald
Gordon Greer
Kirk Broadfoot
Stephen O’Donnell
Greg Taylor
Rory McKenzie
Eamonn Brophy
Greg Kiltie
Iain Wilson

Forgot to add:

Kris Boyd.

Glad I could help.

Hopefully, if we continue to play 3 at the back, Tierney takes his spot with McKenna and Hendry beside him.
