afca32
First A-League game ends goalless. Adelaide only have themselves to blame for missing numerous good chances. Some good, some terrible. The highlight was the rammy and red card by VAR.

Ira Gaines
Decent use of VAR in the WSW/Nix game, with a dive winning a penalty, and then the VAR overturning it. Made all the better by the total arse of a commentator who was certain there was contact.

Eta: Nix 1-0, can see Babbel getting punted quite soon.

Looks like Taylor Regan off to play in Malaysia. Any truth in story that Fornaroli moving to Glory in swap for Andy Keogh?

Any truth in story that Fornaroli moving to Glory in swap for Andy Keogh? Its interesting but Tony Sage saying before the game there's nothing to it, and Keogh has a Glory extension on the table to which he will decide his future soon.Im undecided, Keogh on form is a lethal poacher, but he tends to either drift over to the left wing a lot or just stay stationary in the forward line.Fornaroli is a exciting prospect but is he matchfit and would he suit poppas tactics? And to be honest would he want to move over west?
Arabdownunder
Bloke who was dropped for not meeting fitness and training standards and who took the huff when told he was on the bench does not seem Popovic's type.

afca32
Watched the Victory-Newcastle game. Entertaining and surprised at that quality on show. The Adelaide-Wellingtom game last week left me thinking the standard was poor but Newcastle played some nice stuff and Victory have some very classy players.
