Very good, positive appointment for Livingston. No chance of relegation now IMVHO.

Whenever a managerial job becomes available in Scotland, I am always concerned Sackie McNafortune might weasel his way in to another club. Glad to see this still hasn't happened.

That quote from Yogi that Martindale has been putting money into the club. Jesus, if that's true, surely that would be concerning? Where does a guy, who claims the police seized all his drug money before he went to jail, and who's only job since coming out, has been as coach at Livi, get money to invest in a football club?

To be fair, the police did say there was a sizable amount of money unaccounted for.

The answer is Neil Rankine. Allegedly.

David Hopkin is obviously a very good manager, but looking at the managers in the league already, they are a very ugly bunch. Adding a fat ginger with big ears to the mix is in danger of making our league a laughing stock across Europe.

McInnes is the only manager in the league that is properly attractive just now, Livingston should look to add to this for the good of the game.

Ahem, our Management team consists of  George Clooney and , Idris Elba lookalikes.

You have to applaud Livi, they really revel in giving inexperienced people opportunities; Martindale has no experience in coaching yet here he is, Miller had no experience in management yet again Livi were willing to take him on. Now? Holt? A man whose only managerial gig was 4 years ago when he failed to get Falkirk promoted and someone who has been unemployed since being sacked at Norwich 2 years ago.

Think you're missing out Hopkin, Richie Burke, Gary Bollan, Mark Burchill and Gareth Evans :D We pretty much gave all of them their first job in management

I don't see it as being out of the ordinary. All the experienced managers that would take it are washed up managers who would struggle re: Hughes.

Young and hungry managers have a track record of working so it's nice to see we keep the theme going

You really shouldn't have bitten on that rather stale bait.. ;)

Seriously, I have no idea how good Holt is/will be.

Didn't bite, just saying you're right to be honest :D We don't usually go for experienced managers
