fat_tony
Agreed and I think that's what I like about him. There was a couple of times he went back the way just to keep possession and a few of the morons round about me were giving him pelters. Most likely the same folk who were moaning when we were lumping the ball to absolutely no one earlier in the season. The way Turnbull looks after the ball is simply sensational to watch. Even if he has a fairly quiet game (like Saturday), he doesn't often try to force it. There were several points on Saturday where he took the ball in under immediate pressure from a couple of men and did nothing more than take a couple of touches and play a simple 5-yard pass to a team mate. Thing is, he makes even that look totally effortless, and never seems to be in any danger of losing the ball.Even when he doesn't do much with it, he just has that innate ability to do the right thing at the right time. ropy
Gave the ball away once, not bad after a dozen games.
Clamber
3 - 0 was flattering but Frear's finish was delicious. Never a pen as most have said.
