SandyCromarty
The figures below are copied from the House of Commons official lists. So now the SNP have overtaken the tories in paid memberships, not bad for a country with a five million population compared to the sixty million UK population the tories have access to. It bodes well for our Independence ambitions. The Labour Party has around 540,000 members, as of April 2018, according to an unconfirmed estimate published on the LabourList. The latest official estimates, in party annual accounts, suggested more than 564,400 members, as of December 2017. The Scottish National Party has just under 125,500 members, as of August 2018. The Conservative Party has around 124,000 members as of March 2018.

I predict a fall off in Labour Party members as many of those inspired to join by Corbyn’s leadership begin to realise that he is flawed in many ways. NotThePars
The Cons don't need a large membership base. To paraphrase Lenin, they're the party for the millionaires.
