yummy fur
McMann has most of the qualities needed to succeed at the Preston / Wigan level of English football. Obviously he would need to continue to improve particularly mentally and be able to put mistakes behind him. Too often in games a mistake in the first 5 or 10 minutes from McMann means that he goes on to have a poor game, however when he’s good he a very effective LB.
accies1874
He's been pretty decent this season, but I think the Premiership is his level.

Scotty Tunbridge
Templeton signs a 2 year extension. Lovely, pleasing he wants to finish his career here by the looks of it.

Don't know about his time at Accies but he scored some great goals for us. Obviously, the one at Easter Road, being the best.
accies1874
It took him a couple of months to get going in his first spell (and then a couple of months to get going the following season). He obviously wasn't as great this time around, but he's still the best footballer at the club. While it's a bit of a worry that he's approaching the end of his career, he's not really about his pace, more intelligence and technique. f**k knows how much football a two-year deal will actually cover though.

accies1874
Only Temps getting one. Chairman saying that the others who will soon be out of contract - McGowan, Hunt, Alston, Gogic, Miller, Oakley and Davies will be away at end of May.Take it this was said in the recent podcast interview?Smith and Temps might be able to ensure we don't miss Miller, and it might be up to Martin to fill Gogic's shoes (who in turn replaced MacKinnon (who we thought Martin was going to replace so it's gone full circle)). McGowan's a decent RB which is something we haven't had too much of over the years, but he's not irreplaceable. We'll miss his aerial ability though. Alston and Hunt were pretty rubbish signings, and Davies and Oakley showed enough to be above them but still weren't worth extending. I would've definitely considered Davies if he a) didn't have a horrendous fitness record, and b) had had a good game since November.
Scotty Tunbridge
Xenophobia kicking in with everyone ecstatic about getting ‘the English boays’ out. I imagine some will leave like Davies (member we turned down actual money for him) and Hunt who have been shite. Despite what Maitland says just now we will be talking to the likes of McGowan, Oakley and Gogic in the near future about signing new deals.

Hunt, Davies and Oakley will be no great loss. I'm more delighted about shedding the imposter that is Alston. Miller was always gonna leave at the end of this season as I think was McGowan but without doubt the biggest loss will be Gogic who was absolutely outstanding this season. The only hope is that with the current climate he may be tempted by the security of an offer from us, assuming we do offer him a contract, which I'd like to think we would.
accies1874
There's Mimnaugh got a one-year extension. Hopefully gets more minutes next season as opposed to wasting away in the reserves.
