LoveFitbaw
Who’ve Dumbarton lost? They’ve had a very settled squad for a few years now so be interesting to see if it’s true.

Boab17
Viewfield Rovers 1 v 1 Hillington AFC A very competitive game not played as a friendly at all. Great to have our long term injured keeper George Scott. Got some valuable minutes on some legs. All the best to Hillington for the season ahead.

The lines were subject of a wee discussion last Thursday. Think the best solution is to get a pro in. No point in having a fantastic surface if David can't get the lines straight☺

But in defence guys all work and running from job to get pitch ready in time not ideal. Fantastic pitch and the guys are very friendly. No need for a pro to come in and line pitch - leave to the Committee.

Boab17
Viewfield Rovers 1 V Carlton YM 2 As a manager ive never seen as one sided a game as this. 2 nil down after 20 mins through 2 flukey goals. To sum. It up Carlton had 3 good chances full game 2 they scored. Our sidelines counted 14 scorable chances. Unfortunately a combination of poor fijishing and a keeper on form did not give the correct balance of play however its about taking your cjances.

The first was an o.g, fine, but the second was a great header from the 18 yard line when your keeper was out in no-man's land, and had to beat 2 boys on the line. Carlton then had another five or six good chances in the second half with some poor finishing seeing the ball being dragged by the front post. Your keeper also pulled off a good one-on-one save in the second half when our striker was clear through. Aye, you's had plenty chances as well and YM keeper was bang on form - but that's what he's there for! christ someone would think you're really hurting after that friendly...

josecc
Thorn Giffnock Dumbarton (would change that if it's true about them losing a number of players though) Milton Cambusbarron Kilsyth2/3 games into the season already and that prediction about the top 3 in the premier looks like it could be bang on. St Mungo's also started well after getting promoted last year
