Scotland v Jamaica - Hampden Friendly

Recommended Posts

I’m really hoping for your sake they subbed the starting keeper at HT....:unsure2:

They did. And you’ll just have to follow the Jamaica Women’s Team to know what you missed.

She was dreadful, which kind of made her hotter.

Really enjoying watching Scotland's women these days. There's plenty of skill and organisation out there.

They're light years away from where they were even 5 years ago.

Mind the last time our men's side put together a nice wee move off one/two touch passes to create a chance?

It was Ajax-esque.

One thing that really stands out is that Shelley Kerr has the international side playing like a club team.  The side has a structure that all the players are comfortable with and understand, and there seems to be a really good connection between the midfield and attack.

If only we had a men's team like that.

Agree. Going forward we look pretty decent.
Concerned we’ll leak goals at the back in the big tournament though....

We should be 3 or 4 up here and out of sight. We're a good level above this lot.

Played some really nice stuff, but been quite sloppy at times.

Won't get away with that against England or Japan.

Having a national side that's actually decent going forward, is something at least, rather than being hapless all over the park.

With a wee bit more composure in front of goal this should have been a much bigger lead.

Absolutely. Erin Cuthbert’s a real prospect and could be one of the stars of the tournament.
Believe we’re 20th in the world rankings, with Jamaica at 53...

Defence is our biggest weakness, as was shown in the Euros a couple of years back.

We lack real pace against the better sides. We have improved though a lot in 2 years.

That was an interesting watch, Cuthbert's goal was excellent and Scotland looked very good going forward.

Defensively left quite a lot to be desired, hopefully we tighten up before the games against England and Japan or I can't see us getting too far.

Breaking the old attendance record by a factor of four is some going. Well done to all who made it along tonight.
