Then we'll have a clearer picture of what their support is like when there is a lot less scope for glory hunting. Thought you'd be pro Talbot.
HibeeJibee
Really outstanding performance today by LL & EOSL and indeed non-league in general. LL sent more clubs (3) from R3 into R4 than Scottish Championship (2) or SPFL2 (2), quite amazing.

From speaking to a few Talbot folks recently it's so much anti pyramid as anti double the price to attend every league game in the SFL2. The big Scottish Cup is like cream cakes and a treble up at the bookies to Talbot but what's the big attraction to playing the likes of Edinburgh City every week in the league at £13 a pop. They know the audience in South East Ayrshire. Most Junior clubs would like a shot at the big Scottish Cup but they don't want Cove Rangers on a wet Tuesday in a league game.

If Talbot reached the SPFL, then their merit payment would be at least £45k a season, so could offset any loss in numbers through the gate.

They have been accomplishing a lot and improving every year, I’d hope they are starting to build a solid fan base

HibeeJibee
First time 3 LL clubs have reached R4. Indeed never before has more than 1... Spartans in 2014-15; EK in 2015-16 & 2018-19. Previous best showing of the southern pyramid was 2... EK+LTHV in 2015-16. This season 4 ... Bonnyrigg+BSCG+EK+Broxburn.
