Oleksandr
Good interview by Piers, Ronaldo is the best player on all time in my opinion. Would anyone come close? Or perhaps beat him? Discuss ?

Oleksandr
Interesting to note that Ronaldo says of all the things and award he could win, the best record would be most golden balls, will he at the end of his career ?

Pele could also dish it out physically if required. He did not have the protection from thuggish defenders that modern players now have. Ronaldo is his true successor.
D.A.F.C
Good interview and showed Ronaldo in a good light. Maradona technically better imho but didn’t apply himself as much as ronaldo did. I’m not sure ronaldo could have scored that goal against England, apparently the pitch was baked hard and really bumpy. Players had to put up with lots more crap decades ago. Oleksandr
Bumpy pitches might help attackers too though? Makes it less easy to read for defenders
Oleksandr
Say you're dribbling defender thinks oh hes kicked it here puts his foot in hits a bump goes another direction, like having a third foot, although if fairness a third foot you cant control

nsr
Maradona all day long. Literally won the World Cup on his own. The other 10 stayed in the changing room.

Sir Tarmo Kink
One of the biggest misconceptions about Pele is that he played against shite. The Brazilian league was the best league in the world when he played in it, and he took a hell of a kicking from most players he played against. His performances internationally were also ridiculously good, he scored against everyone. He does talk some shite though, which makes people dislike him. Edit - the reason Pele played in a lot of friendlies is because teams/countries from all over the world paid Brazil/Santos to play them just to see Pele.
