HeraldSchumacher
I see the official attendance given as 921. Talbot clearly defrauding us as, at half time, I counted 632 Arbroath fans alone
D'Jaffo
really enjoyed seeing the wee Arbroath weirdo team screaming insults at bemused locals on the Main Street after the match. It was a great insight to the colour, vivacity and clearly knocked off Stone Island clad dildos Talbot are missing out on. There was a small group of Arbroath fans that went full on heads gone at the linesman for a good 10 minutes after he didn’t give a penalty. In terms of the match I thought Talbot were better. Arbroath really struggled (and it wasn’t down to the pitch) to break them down and looked soft defensively against the big number 9 up front.
unknown1954
Arbroath were very poor today but still got a deserved draw in end, 100% stonewall penalty on Gold before the one that was given, Felt Dick got the starting line up wrong, was no way a game for Murphy who has struggled badly lately, was always gonna be a battle, I don't understand why the team is being changed as much as it is , big Thomson being injured and Miko likewise forces changes , but Gold being taken out of midfield for Murphy is a joke , he's without a doubt been a standout in midfield this season and was sorely missed there today , Stewart was man of the match against Caley 2 weeks ago and is dropped today makes no sense , ffs Dick decide where McKennas best position is and play him there or don't have him in the squad , the best run of results we've had this season ( and previous ) has been with a settled side,.... get it sorted Dick !
Smokie joe 🐟🇱🇻
Fair play to auchinleck very good performance from them! very happy to get a replay on Wednesday wasn’t confident once sat in the stand and any confidence i had slowly disappeared as first half went on. Stewart made us lot more positive and grew into the game 2nd half Donnelly then missed a sitter and we got a soft pen. Roll on Wednesday Gayfield will suit us a lot better!
ellichtie
Loved the Talbot fans claiming that our goal wasn't a penalty and should have been a free kick to Talbot because the boy that kicked Scotty in the face for the penalty fell over afterwards. Juniors fans are a bunch of absolute rockets.

A commemorative medal beckons I can see them going through the town tonight in an open top trawler.

Talbot were decent but Arbroath had to chase the game on a very tight pitch against a packed defence. The stats showed Arbroath to have much more of the game and a draw was more than deserved. Hopefully Dick will field his first team for Wednesday and we will prevail on the wide expanses of the San Tomaso.

itzdrk
I kinda presumed it would be a draw when I saw Talbot scored early, just count yourselves lucky they didn't score a sucker punch late on!

lichtie23
Will be interesting to see Dicks team selection on Wednesday evening. Murphy needs dropped after yesterday and Stewart must start. Was Stirling not allowed to play?
Lichtielegend
Stirling was on bench so he must have been allowed to play. Murphy is a player for playing against the better teams. When it comes to a war of attrition like the game yesterday, better with Gold or even Campbell in there. The only real plus is that Dick, who is no stranger to baffling decisions, identified the problems and made changes that helped. Fair play to Talbot, but I genuinely didn't think we were losing that game, while others (ahem Lichtie23) were going aff their nut 20 mins in.
