CallumPar
Ref was poor for both sides, he and Peter grant should be ashamed of themselves for letting graham back on after being knocked unconscious. This incident summed the referee up for me. Keeper charged into Graham, knocking him out. Play went on until referee noticed he was down. Play was (tightly) stopped and for some inexplicable reason, play restarted with an Alloa free kick?! I thought the current laws stated that the team in possession when play is stopped is supposed to get the ball back where they had it? He was poor all game and missed a lot and got a lot wrong for both teams.Honestly didn’t see the challenge for the Alloa penalty, won’t comment on that until I’ve seen it. It should never have gotten to that situation though and Edwards should have, at worst, booted the ball out of play.Thought Nisbet did well for the penalty. Defender stuck his leg out and Nisbet made the most of it, but it was a penalty. He did get caught. After that, Turner missed the target from 4 yards out, Ashcroft still can’t keep a header down and our final ball continues to be a weakness. Jamie MacDonald also made a few cracking saves and deserves credit for that. One from a deflected Nisbet shot, he was going the other way and managed to change and tip it over the bar.Our defence were caught napping a few times, culminating in Alloa getting a free header at the back post. A few around me seemed to blame Scully for that, which I don’t understand. That’s not the keeper’s ball and he is absolutely not responsible for there being no defenders anywhere near Cawley when he headed in at the back post.No complaints about the result, Alloa were good with the ball and clinical. Some of their play was very good.
laughing gravie
Fortune favoured us for a change, Brown going off after 40 minutes allowed us to play with eleven plyers and this was obviously the missing part of the jigsaw which we have been missing for the last few weeks. So glad wee Kevin nodded in the winner, welcome back Kevin
D.A.F.C
Ref missed a stonewall pen for us when alloa handled it in the box. Clearest pen of the game as well.

weetoonlad
Didn't see any Alloa players shouting for a pen. Seemed like a soft one, but hopefully we'll se it on the highlights. Inevitably, Pars TV was frozen for our pen, so have no idea what happened. Commentary said that Trouten left a foot in and it was pretty clear cut.Paul Paton is a nasty nasty player . move yous didnt get any points Sent from my ZTE BLADE V7 using Pie and Bovril mobile app

Stellaboz
No idea what the plan was today?First half we were sitting off their defence and allowed them to pass out. Second half we just continued then Ryan and Turner dropped even deeper. Alloa closed us down and made us play long. Most of it was down to lack of effort and poor tactics.Get Turner out asap hes not physically ready for champ football.Beadling should have came on after 30 mins. Crawford needs to stop us having these games where we dont show up.Agree with tactics, I thought we should have taken Ryan off and brought on Beadling into the middle as Alloa looked to have the run of the midfield for a long time.Disagree about effort, easy and lazy to say after a defeat. Alloa were incredibly well organized and chased down the ball in their own half the whole game and gave us no time.Star men?Difficult one. Kiltie, Ashcroft and Dow. Nobody had a good game though, far too many below average performances.
printer
Agree with this. Thomson looked like he was determined to grab his chance and showed how important he could be if he maintains fitness and that attitude. Robbo was excellent, probably myMotM, although there were several candidates for that. He seemed to relish being back in centre midfield. I agree he should start there even when Stevie H is available. Get them both in there beside Flanny, Kev and Trouts. A really good win and three points. Despite the knee jerk reactions from the usual suspects after two defeats in a row, the team has been playing well, playing a lot of good football and with a great attitude. ETA Blair Malcom did pretty well at left back. Brilliant 2nd half. Thought we looked a lot better 2nd half with Thomson upfront. All too often first half we would be passing the ball about in our own half then as soon as dunfermline properly pressed us the ball would just get lumped up to Ohara who was never going to get anything from the dunfermline centre halfs. Thomson definetly helped us get up the pitch and once we were there our passing and movement in the dunfermline half caused them a few problems. Fair play to Jon Robertson as well btw. Outstanding in the middle. Got to be in there every week for me absolutely wasted playing full back
Myko
Was at this as a neutral yesterday. Alloa deserved the win, very disciplined performace. Andy Graham was immense, not sure what he has to do to earn a Scotland cap/MBE. Not many weak links in the side and goalie pulled off a few important saves. Love watching the pars get beat as well which was a bonus. You can tell the pars have been beaten when they aren't bombarding their Twitter with goal gifs and emojis at 12::01 on a Sunday morning.

Stellaboz
Aye, mental when a club's social media doesn't go all joyous after a win.Perhaps today they should re-tweet Sammy's cardboard tank instead.

Nonsense rules but these are the rules: HANDLING THE BALL Except for the above offences, it is not usually an offence if the ball touches a player’s hand/arm: directly from the player’s own head or body (including the foot) directly from the head or body (including the foot) of another player who is close if the hand/arm is close to the body and does not make the body unnaturally bigger when a player falls and the hand/arm is between the body and the ground to support the body, but not extended laterally or vertically away from the body
Myko
There we are. ParsTV highlights up now. The Ashcroft pen and Robertson handball shown in super-duper mega slow motion. What a bitter, tasteless club.
