Meathead
I like Brian Fallon's new album. It's comforting on a dark walk around deserted streets.
SweeperDee
The Strokes new album is up there with one of the best sounding albums so far. Gorillaz “song machine” could be up there as well with the tracks they’ve been drip feeding.
Gianfranco
I half listened to the Strokes album this morning. I’ll need to give it another bash but I liked the opening track.Slotface’s album is easily my favourite so far this year. Telepathetic, Tap the pack, luminous and passport are tunes.
JMDP
The New Abnormal is magnificent. With each listen it seems to get better.
yoda
Laura Marling's new one was a welcome surprise as its release took me by surprise. It's a lovely record. She's the greatest female solo artist of the last 20 years. Change my mind.
GrahamJags
Not listened to everything I want to hear that’s been released so far, but my current top 10 is: 1. Music Band - Celebration 2. Algiers - There Is No Year 3. The Strokes - The New Abnormal 4. Moaning - Uneasy Laughter 5. Daniel Romano - Visions Of The Higher Dream 6. Dua Lipa - Future Nostalgia 7. The Lone Bellow - Half Moon Light 8. Catholic Action - Celebrated By Strangers 9. Nadia Reid - Out Of My Province 10. Bambara - Stray Dua Lipa was a total surprise. Proper pop brilliance. Also been digging The Wants and Barrie-James O’Neill’s new efforts. Edited April 14, 2020 by GrahamJags

I’d say PJ Harvey, but I know plenty of folk who’d agree with you.
CountyFan
The new smith street band album came out today and to nobody's surprise, it shoots straight to number one on my list.

Savage Henry
In spite of Pitchfork giving it a 10, Fiona Apple’s latest is unlistenable tosh.
Gianfranco
Thoughts? I love it Yeah I like it but I’ll need to give it a few more listens. I’m surprised they never put Chips and Gravy or I am nothing on the album. Great tracks.

The song on the album called "It's ok" is fucking heartbreaking. So good.
Oscar Wilder
Wasn't a huge fan of his first album but, The Bonny, is a really good album! [emoji106]
Gianfranco
Wasn't a huge fan of his first album but, The Bonny, is a really good album! [emoji106]See I’m kind of the opposite. I loved the first album and think it’s far superior. However it is early days on The Bonny and there are 3 or 4 good tracks, but overall I’m a bit disappointed with it. I’ll need to give it a few more listens.
Jimi Shandrix
Peel Dream Magazine new album is very good for anyone who has ever tapped a toe to MBV or Stereolab. I cannot understand the love being afforded the Dua Lipa album. She is a honking goose. Robyn she is not.
Jimi Shandrix
Not usually interested in live albums but the new Animal Collective "Ballet Slippers" is an absolute gem. Captures an amazing live band at the top of their game. Beautiful packaging as well.

BillyAnchor
First release in over 30 years intrigues me for sure, I have liked John Doe's solo work http://www.slicingupeyeballs.com/2020/04/22/x-alphabetland-reunion-album/?fbclid=IwAR15UK71ERg26ojdWDpcpDChUH9AKNTTWQfdUmei02AR3YxA10YDRm3e9FU
