You've given literally no examples to back up this claim. Simply stating something to be true, doesn't make it so.

As someone who spends most of their time in London, England, and has made three trips to Scotland since 'Freedom Day' down south, I can say categorically that there is a noticeable difference.

In Scotland, you are still required to wear masks in shops and on public transport.

In England, up until today's announcement (apart from Transport for London), you were not required to wear masks in shops or on public transport.

In Scotland, if you went into a hospitality venue, you would get immediately directed to the test and trace Scotland QR codes.

In England, this no longer happens. Most pubs have completely done away with the QR codes on their tables etc.

In Scotland, vaccine passports for certain events etc., as per national law.

In England, so far, not the case. Not had to download or show a vaccine passport once and I've been to large-scale events like festivals etc.

So there's three massive ones right off the bat. I can tell you for free, there has been a clear difference between the two for months.

Which is utterly meaningless for 2 reasons:

1) They weren't required to mandate it nationally by effectively twisting the arms of smaller governing bodies to do it for them. Which ultimately has the same effect as it does here in Scotland.

2) Even although the law is technically legislated here in Scotland, it can't realistically be enforced on a large scale. No businesses are going to pressure people into providing proof of vaccination if it hurts their revenue. The Scottish Government know compliance will be low and the legislation exists purely as a posturing measure to show people how tough they're being in tackling Covid.

Must be time for your medication.

And as a business owner, your main concern is demanding proof of vaccination than it is your revenue?

If you really are a business owner then you'll be familiar with the good old "turn a blind eye" technique. Which pretty much every profit driven business is doing.

Fired onto my very short ignore list.  Life’s too short to be reading your pish.

Enjoy your night.

At this moment, on the main page of the BBC News website, there’s four different stories/articles about facemasks. I knew, the moment UK governments made them mandatory, that it would be just about all we ever fcuking heard about for a long, long time. These cnuts in Westminster and Holyrood will have us wearing them at our own funerals.

The Aberdeen match at Tannadice instigated a check of roughly a quarter of the circa 10000 crowd, and I spoke to a St Mirren fan who had to show one at Tynecastle on Saturday.

Only been asked once to show my passport and that was to get into a club.

Been asked once. At Spurs new stadium for the NFL. The steward looked at whatever was on my phone screen for about a nanosecond before waving me through. I could have had a photo of Alan Stubbs on it and he wouldn’t have given a fcuk. Box ticked, he’d asked every twentieth person or whatever, to waft their phone at his fizzog.

Ayr vs Killie, 2x Scotland football games, 2x Scotland rugby games, whisky event and a gig.

England games require proof of vaccine or LFT, as do rugby games at Twickenham. Not sure about the English Championship but all EPL games require the same, and many clubs and gigs. No idea about sherry events.

You do understand this is not legally mandated in England?  Surely even you can understand the difference.

It doesn't make any difference to the non ideologically obsessed punter.
