Read a post online re Vaccine Passports in Denmark - apparently you can temporarily activate one on the app if you've had a negative PCR but not been jagged?

That was my understanding.  It wasnt a vaccine passport but a Covid pass.  Im not sure exactly what you needed it for but it was valid for different lengths of time depending on your circumstances eg negative PCR only got you 72 hours or something, positive test somewhere between 1-3 months and vaccination 6 months (figures could be totally wrong).

People need to start lobbying their SNP MSPs in the hope of creating a backbench rebellion.

Eh? Get involved in politics? When it's much more effective to post on P&B? You're joking, yeah ? Way to misjudge the room, mate.

A good few people have contacted MSPs and mentioned it on here, mostly to sneering responses about how it will make no difference tbh.

A lot of people are mad keen to avoid "politicising the pandemic" when what they really mean is, dont question the performance of scotgov in the greatest crisis anyone (bar the few remaining from WW2) has ever seen no matter how inept, contradictory and shambolic, because they want Scotland to be independent.

Joe Rogan said he didn't want the vaccine because he doesn't need it, he's now treating himself with horse dewormer.
Unreal that he still has a platform after all this.

Unreal? Hes probably earning more now

You're probably right, just a bit depressing that Spotify continue to endorse his batshit mental views, when in all likelihood he has brilliant medical insurance should it all go tits up and the people he's speaking probably don't.

Home Nations Daily update  :  UK Average  357.3 to 355.4 down 0.53%, England 312.9 to 308.0 down 1.57%, Wales 422.0 to 424.6 up 0.62%, Northern Ireland  610.3 to 593.9 down 2.69%

England down for 5th day in a row & NI for 3rd day in a row.

Scotland up for 28th day in a row and has the top 7 authorities in the UK.

Englands number 1 authority Kingston upon Hull is down at 530.6 which is hugely below our average.

Most schools go back in the other home nations on Monday.  Some back already in NI.

Must mean a JCVI briefing is imminent.

Plenty political pressure now down south to join Nicola

Ministers are urging Britain’s vaccine regulator to “get on” with a decision on whether to authorise Covid jabs for teenagers to prevent further disruption to education in the new school year.

Gavin Williamson, the education secretary, told Times Radio that ministers were waiting with “bated breath” for a decision from the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) on whether to authorise Covid jabs for children aged between 12 and 15. Older teenagers have already been offered the jab.

At least 50% of these are now testing as close contacts in order to be able to get back to work or school.

I think everyone now knows countless people in this endless cycle of shiteness.

If they are permanent, then you can assume from that, that other demands will follow.... Boosters, flu jags etc etc.

If not, why on earth would they require to be permanent?

Aye and their use will expanded into immigration, criminal justice and the benefits system.

From a deeper look they have 30k individual members of which only 50% could be said to attend football regularly. They hardly speak for any kind of majority in fans.

Out of interest, who would you say does?

Nobody. There is no one body who has carried out any effective poll across Scottish football to get their views on vaccine passports to enter events and until they do no one should be claiming to speak for anyone other than themselves.

Exactly, not sure what folk expected when the test as a contact to avoid isolation rules came in for the double dosed. Test numbers were obviously going to soar and the old test more, find more adage then comes into play. A lot of asymptomatic double jagged contacts will be getting detected that would simply have been asked to isolate unless they developed symptoms. I'm not sure what the public or politicians expected to happen with this policy but it always looked likely to lead to an explosion in testing and hence cases.

Thing is this is then seen as an explosion in cases, exponential growth blah blah but I suspect case numbers in society in general are probably pretty stable, we are simply picking up a higher % through greater testing. Statos point to the rise in the % positivity but that is being skewed by the nature of those seeking tests.
