Cant remember when you last finished above us now.Last to win the Scottish cup, league cup, Bigger stadium, more season tickets, dont need benefactors or fan groups to prop us up.

Hearts have the better record in derbies, with 143 wins to 86 wins by Hibs in 325 matches played in the three main Scottish competitions. There have been 650 Edinburgh derbies to date, meaning that exactly half of all derbies have been played in other competitions and friendlies.

And you where financially doped in most of them.

I can't even see how it gets overturned, the SPFL had an independent investigation of its process right after it happened.

Stranraer chairman was talking about possibly getting money if Hearts win rather than position being overturned as well, I presume he had been in some form of correspondence with them.

The SPFL rules clearly allow its members to vote on resolutions. There can be no question that the vote itself was permitted.

The only potential issue could be with the process. This is exactly what happened in France, where the LFP relied on a soon-to-expire agreement with FFF not to expand Ligue 1 beyond 20 teams as a reason for relegating Amiens and Toulouse. The expiry of that agreement meant LFP hadn’t considered all possibilities. It doesn’t mean Amiens and Toulouse will be spared; all it needs is for the correct process to be followed before their relegation is (again) confirmed.

The same could apply here: the Court of Session could quash the vote thanks to the process, but that doesn’t stop the same vote being held again, with the same outcome, after the correct process.

The only way there could be financial recourse is if it’s too late, for whatever reason, to re-run the vote.

It’s still unlikely because, as you say, an independent investigation has already found nothing wrong.

I thought your owner was a multi millionaire ? Although with Hibs announcement tonight it doesn’t look like he wants to put his own money in to support you through this tough time. He would appear to prefer to sack staff, who may really struggle to get other jobs just now, rather than support these individuals  who have given many years service to Hibs.

The point is most clubs will have to cut back and make some unpleasant decisions so don’t try and take the moral high ground.

if we have to go to benefactors to keep the staff who run the club day to day in jobs, I have no issue with that.
