Jacksgranda Posted July 9, 2020 Posted July 9, 2020 (edited) Good work, Jimmy. ETA: Although you seem to have 1-1 in twice for "most often" scores. (Maybe I'm missing something.) Edited July 9, 2020 by Jacksgranda 0 Quote

Ranaldo Bairn Posted July 9, 2020 Posted July 9, 2020 Shortest winning run is 3 games. Eh? I'm sure I saw a team win 0 games in a row once. 0 Quote

I think it's that, if you take the longest winning runs of every team, the shortest winning run belongs to Strathspey. They've never won 4 in a row. Which means that Fort must have managed 4 in a row at least once. 1 Quote
Jimmy Shaker Posted July 9, 2020 Author Posted July 9, 2020 That is correct. Fort William once scored 9 (count ‘em!) goals in a Highland League game. Nine. 0 Quote

TheScarf Posted July 10, 2020 Posted July 10, 2020 Basically the HL since I was born. I would've been born one month into season 85-86. Great stats in there. 0 Quote
Jimmy Shaker Posted July 10, 2020 Author Posted July 10, 2020 I'll hopefully get the rest of 1980's done soon enough. Taking it back to when Brora or Lossie showed up might be a reach, tho. 0 Quote
Jimmy Shaker Posted September 4, 2020 Author Posted September 4, 2020 Seeing as points per game seems to be A Thing this season, here's the above table done in such a fashion. Which clears Cove off the top. Which is nice. Caley's PPG is 2.075 and while Cove (1.991) are listed in second, Formartine (1.994) have a marginally better PPG number than the Toonsers. 1 Quote
Jimmy Shaker Posted September 4, 2020 Author Posted September 4, 2020 In case anyone was wondering if this was still going, it is, but slowly as the local papers seem to have much more interest in cricket and the price of sheep than they do football. 0 Quote

Jimmy Shaker Posted September 4, 2020 Author Posted September 4, 2020 I don't know. I will ask the boy who wrote the database I use, but there's no provision for alphabetical order that I've added. Perhaps it only goes to 2 decimal places and defaults to alphabetical order. 0 Quote
