It was Graeme. There was a fair bit of rancour between the shire and the BU's when after only a weeks of signing for them, Sheffield United bought him for a reported £10,000. The fee originally due to the BU's was agreed at £175, although it came in installments. When sold to England the shire offered a further £100, which was knocked back. They eventually paid a further £150 but Willie Mitchell, the BU secretary said that a gentleman's agreement had been made for 5% of a future transfer, bearing in mind that the BU's had an obligation to Dunipace Thistle, Crawford's juvenile club. A report was sent to the SJFA secretary Hugh Biggart, who advised he was going to spotlight the case to fight for a new deal for Junior clubs when transferring to Seniors.

Nothing new in these type of dealings. Had similar experiences as Secretary of a Juvenile club with Junior and Senior clubs. Deanburn Dave
Nobody can pop in for training due to Covid restrictions ..... but they can peek through the gate !! I saw lots of the players at training earlier this week. Players looked happy and cheery as it was early in the session...... probably would be blowing out their erses at the end. I didn't see Kieran Anderson there or big Hunter.I did see Zander Miller with a big cheesy smile looking awfy pleased to be back at the BU's.

Jambo'ness
I assume that they are drawing both the 1st and 2nd rounds, as there are only 14 ties in the first and 114 byes. With our luck in the competition so far, it'll be a 1st round trip to Kelty.
