Craigie Jambo
Highest paid player in the last decade? That would mean more than Lafferty, who we paid quite a bit more than rangers did, after he moved there That must be a ******* lot

Derry Alli
Naismith was on £50k a week at Hearts?

That makes sense. I just assumed NC was some background invester.

Mr. X
This came up on my feed today. So we don't have the best derby record in world football. We come in a measly 4th place.

Hearts are on +58 tied with the equivalent number for Real Madrid both of us are breathing down Linfield's neck and Barcelona are miles out in front Atletico host Real in the Copa del Rey tomorrow and it's a chance for Hearts to go clear in third. Hibs Fans should be getting behind Real and, for that matter, Linfield

lennyzer0
Connor Smith's career continues to be a bit of an odd one - signs an unexpected contract extension and is almost immediately loaned out to a club in the National League, now back up the road after said club gets slapped with a transfer embargo and is attracting interest from St Johnstone (via the Levein link, I assume) and Motherwell (who suddenly find themselves about four players short of starting 11). Thought he looked fine without ever standing out when he played for us, but he never got a real run of games to see if he'd bed in properly. Definitely capable of a decent career in the SPL.

VincentGuerin
SPL was a better name than Premiership, and I'm sticking to it. f**k the pedants.
DC92
Slightly surprised at how positive the response to this is. He's had a couple of good games recently, but overall I'd say he's been a frustrating player with very little end product. He scored 2 goals in 40+ games in 2023 and, up until he got a couple against Livi, he hadn't registered a single assist in 68 appearances for us. I know there will be a lot of sub appearances in there, but that's not a good return. Maybe it makes sense to tie him down in case the last couple of games were the start of a Gino-esque transformation in the second half of the season. Maybe it just makes sense to keep a player who probably doesn't cost much and is a willing runner. I won't get upset about it regardless, but it's a "meh" from me on what we've seen so far.
Insert Amusing Pseudonym
I'm not sold on Forrest but it's undeniable he's a hard grafter and Naismith rates him. He's been good the last month so hopefully he can kick on but it's hard to see him ever being a first pick
the jambo-rocker
Solid squad player in his peak years. Seems to still be the higher numbers for our goals/assists. No issues with that, a solid 7/10 pick up IMO.
VincentGuerin
Ach, fine. He's not amazing, but he's fine as a squad player. We'll always need folk who can come off the bench or fill-in for injuries etc. He won't be on a huge wage and has shown he can fulfill the squad player role. No problems here.
