Bully Wee Villa
First Round draw made. Not a great draw, Newport v Swansea seems the most interesting tie. Maybe Crawley v Millwall. Harrogate's competition debut will be at Tranmere. First Round due for Saturday 5th September, but matches could be rearranged to make room for International call-ups. Round One draw, Northern section Tranmere vs Harrogate Crewe vs Lincoln Walsall vs Sheffield Wednesday Rochdale vs Huddersfield Preston vs Mansfield Bolton vs Bradford Blackburn vs Doncaster Stoke vs Blackpool Fleetwood vs Wigan Grimsby vs Morecambe Middlesbrough vs Shrewsbury Derby vs Barrow Scunthorpe vs Port Vale Sunderland vs Hull Burton vs Accrington Salford vs Rotherham Barnsley vs Nottingham Forest Oldham vs Carlisle Round One draw, Southern section... Bristol City vs Exeter Plymouth vs QPR Swindon vs Charlton Forest Green vs Leyton Orient MK Dons vs Coventry Crawley vs Millwall Stevenage vs Portsmouth Peterborough vs Cheltenham Brentford vs Wycombe Northampton vs Cardiff Luton vs Norwich Birmingham vs Cambridge Newport vs Swansea Oxford vs AFC Wimbledon Reading vs Colchester Gillingham vs Southend Ipswich vs Bristol Rovers Edited August 18, 2020 by Bully Wee Villa

Bully Wee Villa
Must be a decent chance Derby will rest him, anyway.

No need to rest him before they've played a game, could treat it as a pre season game like some of our teams do with the league cup
Bully Wee Villa
Maybe, haven't checked how it fits in with the league schedule tbh.
CM.
Not sure how true this is but Lancashire telegraph reported the other day that these matches could be used to trial a return of supporters to some extent (half full stadiums at the most I think). If allowed, despite reduced capacity, it could still be Blackburns best attended R1 home tie in the Carabao Cup for a while Usually only draws about 5 or 6k tops.

Honest_Man#1
Harry Burgoyne of Falkirk game has just let in possibly the worst howler I’ve ever seen to let Boro equalise against Shrewsbury.

The Naitch
This has been grim. Begging for penalties at this stage.
Bully Wee Villa
Why does the Barrow badge have a red rose when they're not from Lancashire, and why does it have a bee with an arrow through it? Do they really hate bees?

Bully Wee Villa
Ta. I knew it included Merseyside and Greater Manchester (hence the cricket team), but didn't know it stretched so far North.
