Boo Khaki
Just now, Fife Saint said: Burrow strip sacked into next season. Staring down the field and totally oblivious to the pressure. I always enjoy these Thursday games. Ineptitude is entertaining when it's relatively equal across both teams. I really CBA with 51-49 shootouts and find them like watching paint dry.
AmericanFan
Terrible pick by Mayfield there.
Boo Khaki
How on earth is that a penalty? Mayfield jumping up and down with his dick in the wind. He's a defender at that point, it's stupid you can't knock him on his arse. No Fun League.
Boo Khaki
Bengals D is absolute garbage. They just can't put the carrier on the ground with first contact, ever.
Boo Khaki
2nd ever NFL start, and you throw 60+ passes. They are indeed going to get him killed/broken
AmericanFan
Bengals 2 years away from being a team that threatens to make playoffs with that roster.

Boo Khaki
Burrow will probably wake up feeling like a 30 year old rookie tomorrow after the beating he took. Probably have to phone the Reds for tips on icing his arm as well.
Bully Wee Villa
Enjoyed that game. Some of the Bengals play-calling was suspect, to say the least, but impressed by the intensity of the Browns. Chubb especially.
Antiochas III
If they're gonna ask Burrows to drop back 40-60 times a game then Burrows might not see his second year. Edited September 18, 2020 by Antiochas III
lichtie23
Just watched the condensed game. Seemed decent entertainment. Burrow showed flashes of brilliance but he needs to learn to throw the ball away. Mayfield did well apart from a daft INT. The Browns will win plenty games with their running game. Chubb is an absolute baller and is complemented really well by Hunt.

Boo Khaki
I think there's already something wrong with AJ Green that isn't just down to rust. His catching radius appears to have diminished markedly, and while he hasn't had any egregiously bad drops in these two games, he has invariably failed to make even the moderately difficult catches that he used to snag as a matter of routine. Perhaps it is just a bit of rust and age, it's not been the usual off-season where a rehabbing player has the very best chance to hit the ground running on week 1, but just giving it the eyeball test he looks like a shadow of the player he used to be. I thought it was interesting listening to Aikman on the Mayfield INT. He says he believes it was a blown coverage, that Jackson should have been running perpendicular to the line shadowing the WR who ran into the opposite flat, but he totally lost him so decided to freeboot in the deep middle on a whim. Would explain why Mayfield was seemingly oblivious.

In two years I'll be surprised if Green is still in the league at age 34.

There aren't many (if any) stronger backfields in the entire league.

This weeks random Friday Chargers Injury report pop-up was Tyrod Taylor, but it appears he's good to go for Sunday.
Brummie Clyde
Robert Quinn listed as Questionable for Da Bears, but had a full practice. Mack also Questionable, as is Golden Tate for the Giants. Expect them all to play.Washington @ Cardinals is the battle of the surprise winners from Week 1.
