90 minutes to go - and it’s still not over yet!

Expect the unexpected - that’s been a constant over the past six weeks.

Congratulations to Dunbar. Not a game for the faint hearted but we got there in the end. We missed two penalties but fully deserved after leading for most of the season. Big Dawson the hero with both so well done to him. Well done to the manager .Another great turnout.

Wasn't at the game as I'm on holiday can't wait to see these 3 pens

Congratulations to all at Dunbar.

Was anything but a vintage performance. However, to keep going right to the whistle is testament to the players belief.

The players, staff, committee and volunteers have put so much into the season. I hope everyone enjoys their evening.

As I said - expect the unexpected,

92 and a half minutes on the clock and trophy is motoring up the A1 to the Kinnoull team who’ve won at Preston.
93 mins on the clock - Penalty DUNBAR, goal !!!

The League Trophy car is rerouted back to DUNBAR and its party time.
Or as referred to tonight as Karma time 😀😅🤣

What would you have done with your wee flag had you not scored the last minute goal?

Opened a museum and put it with the Hearts 1986 champions flag, the Rangers ten in a row merchandise and the Haddington Athletic Brown Cup Winners t shirts....

Many congratulations. Left it a little late. The 2nd penalty could have been a cracker if it was marginally lower. Big Daws - Man of the Moment, what a celebration he made of his winning goal - rightly so!!

As you say, huge turn out of 500+ in the ground, with a couple of the ‘61 legends - Bellamy and Howieson in attendance. That’s two historic days that these  guys have witnessed for Dunbar United. Great stuff.

Manager not messing about! Four new signings announced this evening.

Brandon Archibald, Kyle Somers, Michael Barfoot and Gordon Harris.

Haven’t seen too much of them but trust the manager and hopefully a couple of forwards are added in the near future.

A very worthwhile trip up to Foresters Park, Tranent a few hours ago for little old DUFC.
Notable performance in the second half which maybe rewarded Sunny Dunny with a very unexpected result.

It was good to visit and see the new payers and talent that’s been amassed at TJFC. Good luck for the coming season to you guys at EH33.

However the smiley supporters after 99 minutes were the ones with Black and White scarves. 🏁⚫⚪⚫🏁

Aye, it was an interesting scoreline as my Broxburn supporting mate said the Belters looked impressive when winning at Albyn Park the other week.

I never take too much out of friendly scores myself but perhaps a wee morale booster for the team

Great result and a good Dunbar performance, albeit a friendly good for the confidence.  More than a few boo's for Tranent man Cammy Dawson when he smashed home the goal to put Dunbar 2-1 up! The big man took it in his stride, the most laid back 6'6" guy in Scottish Football!

Outstanding start to the season. You will be doing well to find a better performance from Dunbar in recent years.

Thought all the new signings, who started, were brilliant. Some big calls from the manager but he was vindicated.
Barfoot was head and shoulders above everyone first half. When he went off, Somers was the main main second half. However, you could have picked a handful of Dunbar players for MOTM.

A good start, but only 3 points. On to a very hard game against Sauchie midweek.

A midweek trip to Sauchie. Never the easiest of teams to play against at any time. Especially after their opening day defeat on Saturday.

Can recall a couple of good goals the last time DUFC visited Bechwood Park. Hoping for similar once again.
Fantastic service that every minute is recorded and available to the many fans who can’t make the journey.

Good luck guys.

You were right of course but after last night's result it's
