oneteaminglasgow
Matchday 30 - 2059 Spoiler A solid start for us, and another victory by a single goal. That makes it 19 out of our 25 wins this season have been by one goal. Buducnost, on the other hand, specialise in dishing out pumpings, with eight victories by 3 or more. Sutjeska aren't a bad side either. It doesn't matter how many they win by, we're still nine points head with six games to go now.
oneteaminglasgow
Matchday 31 - 2059 Spoiler Well, that's an unexpected spanner in the works. We've only lost two league games this season, but both were very heavy margins of defeat. Just didn't get going, 3-0 before we started to play at all. We got a couple of chances after the penalty, but didn't take them and they hit us again on the break. Shite On the upside though, Buducnost didn't take full advantage, despite playing against ten men for the second half. Last season's champions Petrovac have done us a real solid here. We're still firmly in control of the title race. Up next, Buducnost away.
oneteaminglasgow
Matchday 32 - 2059 Spoiler Shite. Completely outplayed in the game that could have seen us all but win the title. That's two losses in a row, need to address that quickly. Fortunately, we still have a five point buffer.
oneteaminglasgow
Montenegrin Cup Semi Final - Second Leg - 2059 Spoiler Thrown in amongst our faltering league form, we also lost out in the cup semi final. Started the game well, with the penalty but as soon as their goal came, our fightback died on it's arse. No cup glory for Berane this season.
oneteaminglasgow
Matchday 33 - 2059 Spoiler Well thank f**k for that. 3-0 up at half time, the second half was a bit more a struggle but we saw it through to the end. Orlovic' goal was an absolute sitter... Spoiler Combine that with Buducnost failing to win, and it's been a great day for us. We're one win from the title.
oneteaminglasgow
Matchday 34 - 2059 Spoiler We'll start with the Buducnost result, and they were in no mood to hand us the title. Shame. It wouldn't matter though if we were able to win... Spoiler And we were! 1-0, they'd a goal disallowed near the end and we were under huge pressure for the final 15 minutes but saw it through, and probably deserved the win. But we're champions! Two more games to go, and I don't really mind what happens in them. It's job done!
oneteaminglasgow
Matchday 35 - 2059 Spoiler Rescued a draw late on, not really fussed about it to be honest. We did fine. Job's already done, and the record points total is out of reach so I'm just going through the motions until the end of the season.
oneteaminglasgow
Matchday 36 - 2059 Spoiler I sign off from Montenegro with a nice straightforward win over a pretty poor Jezero side. Karamatic has been, consistently, one of my best players at the club so it was good to see him get a goal in my final game, and Radenkovic too as he's made a huge difference to the team since joining. It means that the final table looks like this. And I'm away. Montenegro done, and next up to load is North Macedonia
oneteaminglasgow
Albania next up. Apolonia Fier are from Southeastern Albania, and throughout the save have been mostly a second tier side with the odd foray into the top flight - their lonest stay has been three seasons. They also do that Celtic thing of having a green and white home kit, and a white and green away kit. Might not have taken the job if I'd realised. Anyway, they've just been promoted back into the top flight and look favourites to go straight back down. Wonderful.

oneteaminglasgow
KS Apolonia - Meet the Team 4 stars is "currently operating at top flight level", 3 is "leading player for most second tier sides" Cekaj is first choice here, as Rippa is needed elsewhere. That's actually not bad options though, 4 players who should be more than capable of doing a decent job for me up front. A pleasant surprise. Again, not too shabby. A lack of depth here, certainly, but my first choice of Lilaj-Rippa-Kurki should be pretty good. Will definitely need to bring in some other options though. This is, for me, the first real problem area. Zeqo is good as neat and tiidy midfielder, but I need someone next to him as both Rippa and Lilaj will be playing elsewhere. Ideally, I'm looking for someone to win the ball back a lot. Will see what I can get. Left back is a disaster area, right back is weirdly strong and I need central defenders badly. And that's just awful. Priority number one will be a number one who isn't out his depth in the league below the one we're in. We're the England of the Albanian league, I think. Plenty going forward, but anything behind attacking midfield is ropey at best.
oneteaminglasgow
Transfers 2059 No real losses there. I still don't really know my full squad very well, but nobody here was jumping out at me as particularly excellent, and only Pashaj has gone to a bigger club that us where he's been loaned out instantly so fine. The first three signings there were agreed before I joined, and the latter three are mine. Halili provides cover right across the back four, but I'll be pretty concerned if he's my first choice in any of those positions this season. He won't be though, and is more than fine to come in and do a job when needed. Spoiler Probably the best of the non-me signings is Fabian Backhaus, who'll be my left back. Like Halili, he can also cover across the back four, and is defensively solid. Doesn't offer much going forward, but will be fine for my (probable) relegation fight. Spoiler The other one is Kasperi Kyllonen, a striker. He's good, young and excellent on the ball. If he was a bit quicker, he'd probably be nowhere near me. However, he won't be first choice and will largely feature off the bench. Still, if he lives up to his potential, he should be a good player for a few years. Spoiler Patrias Fingkreuw is another in my proud tradition of signing random Indonesian players. A centre half, he's good defensively and competent on the ball. At 22, he should still get better and could be part of a decent side in a few years. I'm happy with him Spoiler John McDowell joins from Brechin (A league two side, to illustrate the level we're at) and will be my number one goalkeeper. I kind of jumped the gun, because just after signing him a much better goalkeeper at Raith was pointed out who'd have cost much the same, but here we are. He'll be fine. Spoiler Saimir Islami was my final signing, and he's pretty decent. Mental attributes are excellent, and he's a decent passer. Also a good free kick taker, which might be useful. Spoiler So that's my squad. I think we're hardworking, but fairly untalented bunch. We'll be a solid team, but I imagine we'll be eyebleedingly terrible to watch, mostly.
oneteaminglasgow
August 2059 A fucking enthralling start to the season that. We should be beating Korabi, but Bylis are a decent side so a draw with them is a decent result. As I said, we'll be pish to watch. That'll do so far.
oneteaminglasgow
September 2059 We managed to get some goals at long last, and beating Laci is a genuinely excellent result for us given they usually hang around the top three in the division. Almost stole a draw against Partizani as well, which would have made it a very decent month. About where I'd expect to finish, so I'm relatively pleased with our start.
oneteaminglasgow
October 2059 I don't think I've ever assembled a more boring side. Like, I've had far less competent sides, but we're just incredibly dull at the minute. One win, and it was against a lower league side and we were pretty lucky to get it. We're just quite bad at creating chances and then taking them. It's a great laugh. I suppose we're still picking up points, but we're really not a good side.
oneteaminglasgow
November 2059 Well, that was a masterclass in fucking things right up. Teuta were just much better than us, never got into that game but Korabi was a bad one. 2-1 up and cruising through the game, we then got 2 red cards and conceded a 94th minute equaliser by not bothering to mark their striker in the 6 yard box. Sickening. But Bylis was even worse. 3-0 up within 26 minutes, and 3-1 at half time, we completely fucked it second half, and deserved to lose to be honest. Shameful stuff. We were also leading against KF Tirana, but again got a red card and conceded a 86th minute winner, to round the month out. A total shitefest. Still just one league win, but remarkably we're hanging on to 8th place, where we'd avoid automatic relegation, and are well in touch with 7th to avoid the playoff as well. The bottom half of this division are all utter pish.
oneteaminglasgow
December 2059 Probably the first month of my managerial reign here that I can be genuinely pleased with. Easy stuff against a third division side in the cup, a good point against Partizani and two whole league wins in a row after waiting almost 3 months for one. Lovely. If we can maintain this form, we'll be nowhere near bottom. We won't maintain it though. Aye, we've pulled away from the automatic spots a bit, which is lovely, and still sit just a point away from staying up without a playoff.

oneteaminglasgow
January 2060 Transfer window opened again this month, so I had a load of players heading out - mainly on loan, with Gega the exception. Jusuf and Tsonis were both on the fringes of my team, but both are young so I thought it was better for them to play every week. Strobel and Berisha are shite and will not be missed. I also brought in a couple of player, with Goga Khingava first up. He was a squad player for me at Merani, and was in my title winning side there, but joins us having failed to really make an impact there. An attacking midfielder, he's a very technically gifted player and will almost certainly be one of my best players for the next few seasons at least. Spoiler My other signing is Bledar Bytyci, a guy who can play a number of positions but I've signed him entirely because he provides some depth at left wing. He's not great, and I overspent to get him, but I desperately needed someone. Spoiler I will definitely take that. Won the two games I really wanted to win against sides around me, and we weren't too bad in the other games either. Khingava's goal against Bylis was a screamer as well, direct free kick from 30 odd yards out. Our cup run is also still going strong, although we've had a proper England style draw so far playing exclusively lower league sides. I'll take it though as it may well see us into the semi final without having to play anyone verging on decent. Those two wins have us now outside any relegation place for the first time this season! Just a point in it, and our game in hand is at Tirana so unlikely to take anything, but it's a good development.
